제4차 산업혁명 시대 학부 법학교육은 어디로?

국문 초록

이 글에서는 제4차 산업혁명이라는 거대한 변화 속에서 법조 양성 기능을 상실한 학부의 법학교육이 어떤 존재의미를 가지고 있는지, 이에 부응하기 위해서는 어떤 변화가 이루어져야 하는지를 이야기해보고자 한다. 제4차 산업혁명 시대는 초지능, 초연결 사회를 특징으로 하며, 사회에서 유효한 지식의 수명 주기가 급속 하게 짧아질 것으로 예상된다. 이런 시대를 대비해야 하는 학부 법학교육의 방향에 대해 법학의 교양적 성격과 일반 실천성의 강화를 제안하였다. 교양적 성격의 강화와 관련해서는 기초교양, 시민교양, 인문교양의 측면에서 검토하였고, 일반 실천성의 강화와 관련해서는 융합교육의 활성화, 평생교육 체제에의 대비, 좋은 온라인 개발의 필요성을 주장하였다.

영문 초록

In this article, I would like to review what meaning the legal education of the undergraduate school has in the time of great change aroused by the 4th industrial revolution, and what kind of reforms it should make to cope with such big change. The age of the 4th Industrial Revolution is characterized by super-intelligence and hyper-connective society, and the life cycle of knowledge valid in society is expected to be rapidly shortened. I propose the strengthening of the liberal arts character and the overall practicability of the jurisprudence in order to prepare for the challenges. In relation to the liberal arts character, I examine the aspects of the elementary liberal arts, liberal arts for citizens in a democratic state, and liberal arts as humanities which the jurisprudence has. And regarding the overall practicability, I suggested the promotion of convergence education, the preparation for lifelong education system, and the development of online contents with high quality.
