부산지역 노인 교통사고 현황 및 분석

국문 초록

최근에는 고령화와 관련하여 노인 자전거교통사고와 관련한 여러 가지 자료들이 발표되고 있다. 노인 자전거교통사고의 증가는 결국 우리 사회가 고령화 사회로 가면서 노인 인구가 증가했기 때문으로 볼 수있고, 이는 곧 노인 보행자 사고와 노인 운전자 사고가 증가한 것으로 나타난다고 볼 수 있다. 노인의 경우 신체적인 측면만 볼 때 운전 중 사고에 대한 인지능력 및 방어능력이 떨어지므로 사고가 발생할 경우에도 일반인에 비해 교통사고의 피해를 쉽게 당할 수 있다. 고령화 사회로 진행되기 전에는 노인 인구가 크게 문제되지 않았지만 노인 인구의 규모가 늘어나면서 사회문제화 되는 단계까지 진행되어 심각하게 고려해야할 사항이다. 본 연구에서는 부산지역의 교통사고와 관련하여 최근 5년간 부문별 교통사고 중에서 노인 교통사고 현황, 노인 사망사고 현황, 노인 자전거교통사고 현황에 국한하여 비교․분석하였다. 첫째, 노인 교통사고의 발생건수와 부상자수는 증가했으며, 사망자수는 감소하였다. 둘째, 노인사망사고의 사망자수는 감소했으며, 부상자수는 증가했다. 셋째, 노인 자전거 교통사고의 사망자수는 감소했으며, 부상자수는 증가하였다. 이제 노인 교통사고를 사회문제로 받아들여 정책적 측면에서 접근해야 한다. 경찰과 교통안전관련기관에서의 고령자 대상의 교통안전교육실시와 노인 자전거 교통사고 예방을 위해 노력하지만 교통사고를 줄이기 위해서는 정부의 정책이나 교육만으로는 일정한 한계에 이르게 되고 정책의 실패로 나타날 수밖에 없다고 본다.

영문 초록

Recently, various data related to old age bike traffic accidents have been released regarding aging. An increase in the number of elderly bicycle traffic accidents is seen as an increase in the elderly population as an aging society, which indicates an increase in elderly pedestrian accidents and elderly driver accidents. In the case of an elderly person, the ability to think about accidents is impaired because of the lack of cognitive abilities and defense capabilities, so it can easily injure traffic accidents compared to the public. Although the elderly population is not significantly older than the aging society, it is crucial that the population of the aged population is taken into account and the social problem is taken seriously. This study is the traffic accident occurred in relation to traffic accidents in the area of traffic accidents in recent five years, and the current condition of the elderly. First is the number of elderly traffic accidents and the number of injuries increased, and the number of deaths decreased. Second is the death toll from the elderly death toll decreased, and the number of injuries increased. Third is the number of deaths in the number of elderly bicycle traffic accidents decreased, and the number of injuries increased. Now, we need to take a toll on senior citizens traffic accidents and approach them in terms of policy. We believe that the government s policies on preventing traffic accidents and preventing traffic accidents and accidents involving senior citizens and traffic accidents will only result in the government s policy and education failures, and the government s policies on reducing traffic accidents will inevitably prove to be a failure.
