국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 2년제 전문대학 사회복지 전공생이 인지하는 전공만족이 전문직 정체성에 미치는 영향과 이 과정에서 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위해 서울 및 수도권 지역 2년제 전문대학 3곳의 사회복지 전공생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였 으며, 최종적으로 236명의 응답을 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 각변인들의 상관관계를 살펴보고, AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 구조모형을 통해 전문직 정체성에 미치는 전공만족의 영향에서 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석결 과, 2년제 전문대학 사회복지 전공생의 전공만족은 진로결정수준, 진로준비행동, 그리고 전문직 정체성에 직접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로발달의 행동적 측면인 진로준비행동이 사회복지 전공생의 전공만족과 전문직 정체성 간의 관계를 매개한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 2년제 전문대학에서의 진로준비를 통해 사회복지 전공생의 사회복지 전문직 정체성을 개발함으로써 실천역량을 갖춘 사회복지사를 양성하기 위한 시사점을 제시한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between satisfaction with major and professional identity of college social welfare students and the mediating effects of career decision level and career preparation behavior. The survey was conducted to social welfare students at three colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and a total of 236 questionnaire responses were analyzed for Pearson’s correlation and the structural equation modeling using SPSS 18.0 and Amos 18.0. The results identified that students’satisfaction with social welfare major had a direct effect on professional identity, career decision level, and career preparation behavior. Moreover, the relationship between satisfaction with major and professional identity was mediated by career preparation behavior featuring behavioral aspects of the social welfare career development. Based on these findings, the implications are suggested for the improvement of social welfare education at college to facilitate the social welfare professional identity of students leading to the competent social workers in practice.
