국문 초록

이 연구는 일제강점기에 향유된 ‘황제풀이’에 관한 연구이다. ‘황제풀이’는 서울지역에서 불렸으며 가옥신인 성주신과 집의 건축, 집치장에 관한 무속신화이다. 연구의 대상자료는 조선무속의 연구 에 실린 ‘황졔푸리’와 양종승 소장 ‘송병춘본 황졔푸리’이다. 이들 자료는 각각 1937년 1924년에 기록되었으므로 일제강점기 무속의례의 단면을 살피기에 적절한 자료라 할 수 있다. 이 자료의 내용상 구성을 살폈다. 먼저, 조선무속의 연구 에 실린 ‘황졔푸리’의 구성은 다음과 같다. ‘황제에 대한 찬양과 축원’, ‘성주 본풀기’, ‘초년성주, 이년성주, 하계 성주, 중계성주, 글막성주, 로자성주’, ‘소나무의 성장과 재목 운반’, ‘집터 다지기와 집 짓기’, ‘집에 대한 묘사’, ‘대주에 대한 묘사’, ‘여러 신들 부르기’로 구성되어 있다. 양종승 소장 ‘송병춘본 황졔푸리’의 구성은 다음과 같다. ‘황제에 대한 찬양과 축원’, ‘성주 본풀기’, ‘소나무의 성장과 운반’, ‘집터 다지기와 집짓기’, ‘집에 대한 묘사’, ‘후손에 대한 기원’으로 구성되어 있다. 이 자료의 내용을 비교하면 다음과 같다. ‘배경재본 황제풀이’에는 ‘3) 소나무의 성장과 재목 운반’, ‘5) 집에 대한 묘사‘가 더욱 자세하다. 부인과 대주에 대한 묘사가 자세히 나타나 있다. 부인의 거동과 의복, 장신구, 옷감 등이 자세히 묘사된다. ‘송병춘본 황제 풀이’에서는 대주나 부인의 모습보다는 후손에 대한 묘사가 자세히 기술된다. ‘배경재 본 황제풀이’가 현재 그 집에 살고 있는 대주와 부인을 중심으로 묘사된다면, ‘송병춘본 황제풀이’는 자손에 대한 갈망이 더 크게 기술된다고 볼 수 있다. ‘배경재본 황제풀이’의 전승자인 배경재는 서울 경운동 거주 큰무당이며 경운동은 사대문 안의 지역으로 배경재는 사대문 안에 살면서 양반들을 주고객으로 1) 삼아 굿을 했음을 추정해 볼 수 있다. ‘송병춘본 황제풀이’의 전승자는 ‘신통네할아버지’이고 전승 지는 현재 서울 대흥동인 ‘동막’이다. 동막은 독을 굽는 사람들이 사는 곳이었으니 신통네할아버지의 주고객은 양반이기 보다는 부를 축적한 匠人일 가능성이 높다. 양반들이 향유자였을 배경재본 황제풀이보다 오히려 독 굽는 장인들이 향유자였을 ‘송병춘본 황제풀이’에서는 오히려 자손이 과거에 급제하고 번성하기를 기원하는 부분이 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study is a study on the ‘Hwangjepuri’ soul ‘enjoyed’ during the Japanese colonial period. ‘Hwangjepuri’ was called in the Seoul area and is a shamanistic myth about the God of house and house construction cours, interior of house. The subject of the study is ‘Hwangjepuri’ in Choseonmusokeo yaeonku (B.C.1937) and Yang Jeong Seung s ‘Song Byungchun Bon ghwangpuri’(B.C.1924). I examined the composition of the contents of this document. First, the composition of ‘Hwangjepuri’ in Choseonmusokeo yaeonku is as follows. It is a place where ‘the praise and condolence for the emperor(God of house)’, ‘the chant of the God of house’, ‘the growth of the pine tree and the transportation of the timber’, ‘the construction of houses and building houses’, ‘the description for owner of the house’. First, the composition of ‘Hwangjepuri’ in the research paper of ‘Yang Jong Seung s’ ‘Song Byungchun Bon ghwangpuri’. Praise and condolence for the ‘Yang Jong Seung s version of Song Byungchun ghwangpuri’ unraveling of the castle, growth and transportation of the pine tree, chopping and house building, depiction of the house, and origin for the descendants. The following is a comparison of the contents of this data. ‘Hwangjepuri’ in Choseonmusokeo yaeonku 』 is more detailed in ‘3) Growing of pine trees and transportation of lumber’, and ‘5) Describing the house’. The description of the wife and the owner of house is detailed. The behavior of the wife, clothing, ornaments, and cloth are described in detail. The owner of house s hobby and friendship is described in detail. In the ‘Song Byungchun Imperial Poem’, the description of the descendants is described in detail rather than the image of the grandmother or wife. Beakyungjae is a shaman and she songs ‘Hwangjepuri’ in colonial of japan. She living in Seoul s Gyeongun-dong. Gyeongun-dong is located in the area of the big four gates. Beakyungjae lived in the big four gates. Her costomers are nobles. The successor of ‘Yang Jong Seung s version of Song Byungchun ghwangpuri’ is ‘Shintongne s grandfather’ and the legend is currently ‘Dong-mak’ in Daeheung-dong, Seoul. ‘Dong-mak’ People who burn earthenware lived in ‘Dong-mak’, ‘Shintongne s grandfather s customers are maybe artians. Perhaps they had a lot of wealth.
