편의점 강도 위험인자에 관한 사례-통제 연구

국문 초록

연구는 상황적 범죄예방 전략에 입각한 현행 편의점 방범인증제 평가요소들을 중심으로 편의점 강도 위험인자(risk factor)를 파악하여 편의점 강도범죄의 예방 전략을 수립하기 위한 기초자료로 활용코자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 강도 위험인자를 평가하는 사례-통제연구(case-control study) 방법을 활용하였다. 상황적 범죄예방 관련 강도위험인자의 경우 ‘CCTV 설치 및 화질’과 ‘방범시스템 설치 및 이용숙지’에서, 편의점 관련 강도위험인자의 경우 편의점의 매장규모가 크고 야간에 일하는 점원수가 많을수록 편의점 강도 발생가능성이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 편의점 강도를 예방하기 위해서는 편의점 운영을 24시간 운영을 의무화하지 말고 특정 일시 또는 시간에 편의점을 휴업하는 방안을 검토할 필요가 있다. 다음으로 매장 내 CCTV의 설치대수를 증가시키고 외부에서도 쉽게 볼 수 있도록 구조적인 결함을 보완해야 한다. 끝으로 소형 점포에 대한 범죄예방전략 수립 및 지원 대책을 강구할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the risk factors of convenience stores based on the evaluation factors of crime prevention accidents at the current convenience store based on the situational crime prevention strategies and to use them as basic data for establishing prevention strategies for convenience crime. have. A case-control study was used to assess the risk factors. In the case of the crime risk factors related to situational crime, in the case of CCTV installation and image quality and knowledge of crime prevention system installation and use , in the case of the risk factor of convenience store, the convenience store size and the number of night clerks Respectively. Therefore, in order to prevent the intolerance of convenience stores, it is necessary not to obligate 24-hour operation of convenience store operations, but to consider closing the convenience store at a certain date or time. Next, we need to increase the number of CCTV installations in the store and compensate for structural defects so that they can be easily seen from outside. Finally, it is necessary to take measures to establish crime prevention strategies and support measures for small stores.
