힐링 장소와 풍수의 관계에 대한 시론

국문 초록

공간은 인간에게 영향을 미치며, 인간은 오관을 통합적으로 활용해 공간을 경험한다. 풍수에 담겨있는 땅의 특성에 따른 활용 논리는 자연적 공간이 인간의 치유에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 단초가 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 풍수의 논리를 참고해, 인간의 나이와 건강, 심리 상태 등의 개인적 상황에 맞는 힐링 장소를 고찰하였다. 이를 위해, 치유에 영향을 미치는 자연 공간적 요소 세 가지(햇빛, 바람, 물)에 주목하고, 그것들이 개인의 육체적 건강과 심리에 따라 어떻게 달리 받아들여지는지 살펴보았다. 이러한 인간의 상황에 따른 장소 경험의 차이를 풍수의 땅의 활용 논리에 접목해, 힐링 장소를 건강인을 위한 휴양적 힐링 장소와 환자 및 노인을 위한 요양적 힐링 장소로 구별하였다. 본 연구는 정량적 실험을 통해 논증하는 성격이 아닌 시론적 고찰에 불과하지만, 인간 치유에 대한 관점의 폭을 넓혀줄 것이며, 나아가 풍수가 이에 일조할 수 있음을 밝혔음에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Space affects humans, and humans experience the space using all their the five sensory organs. The Feng-shui has a logic of land-using suitable to its characteristics. The logic of Feng-shui could help study the effect of the natural space on the human healing. In this context, this study considered the healing place suitable to each person’s age, health, psychology, using the logic of Feng-shui. For this, this study noticed the three of natural spatial elements(light, wind, water), which could affect human healing. And this study considered how the elements would be accepted differently according to each persons physical health and psychology. This study combined the difference of place experience according to each persons situation, with the logic of Feng-shui. This study divided healing places into a place to rest(for healthy and young people), and a place to care (for patients and old people). This study does not have the demonstrative characteristics through the quantitative analysis, but the study’s theoretical characteristics could give some sense to readers that this study is only independent of subjective value judgements of the research. But this pioneering study would broaden perspective of human healing.
