영문 초록

Financial crisis was due to start the massive debt default crisis in the subprime mortgage market in 2008 and gave a shocking effect in the other credit markets around the world as well as the United States. The countries around the world has been promoting the peform for the effective protection of financial consumers as well as the reform of financial regulatory system and financial regulatory authorities. The United States Government has taken positive steps to stabilize financial markets and ensure consumer confidence and ｢the Bill on Financial Supervision Reform｣ was legislation as a result of the effort. Around the world in addition to the United States is conducted financial regulatory reform policy for its restaurant in order to overcome the chaos of the international economic order and in order to promote financial stability and financial rationalization. Financial regulatory reform and financial consumer protection policy as such left behind many lessons in Korea, various financial policies are being enforced as a result and ｢Capital Market Law｣ enacted in August 2007 and ｢the Bill on the Protection of Financial Consumers｣ submitted by the government in February 2012 are representative. ｢Capital Market Law｣ has an issue that it applies to limited in financial investment industry although a comprehensive law, in contrast ｢the Bill on the Protection of Financial Consumers｣ is more desirable for effective protection of financial consumers because it is applies to the banking industry and insurance as well as financial investment firms and it has been submitted to the National Assembly. Therefore, I would like to review the current trend of monetary policy and seek to improvement plan for legislative issues that might arise after find out the specific legislative direction through monetary policy of major countries in this paper.
