초등 실과교육에 대한 초등교사․ 초등학생․ 학부모의 인식 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 역사와 중요성에 비해 학교 현장에서 낮게 인식되고 있는 실과 교육에 대한 초등교사 ․ 초등학생 ․ 학부모의 인식을 조사 및 비교 ․ 분석하여 실과 교육의 효율적인 방안 모색 및 향후 실과 교육과정 수시 개정의 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 목적을 둔다. 본 연구에서는 조사연구방법을 사용하였고, 사용된 조사도구는 문미영(2003), 김진희(2004), 한영혜(2007)의 설문지를 수정하여 개발한 설문지였다. 연구의 대상은 대구광역시 및 경상북도 소재 9개 학교의 초등교사․초등학생․학부모이고, 방문 및 우편을 통해 설문지를 배포하고 회수하였다. 회수된 설문지는 초등교사 261부(87%), 초등학생 290부(96.6%), 학부모 257부(85.6%)였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSSWIN 12.0을 사용하였고, 연구 수행의 구체적인 실증분석방법으로 빈도분석, t 검증, 일원분산분석(ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교직 경력이 짧을수록 초등학교 교사의 실과 교육에 대한 인식이 높으므로 실과 교육에 대한 계속교육이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 초등학생의 실과 교육에 대한 인식은 5학년이 6학년보다 높고, 대도시의 학생들이 다른 지역의 학생보다 인식이 높았다. 셋째, 실과에 대한 전체적인 인식 수준과 실과의 성격, 목표, 학습내용에 대한 인식 수준은 교사가 학부모와 학생보다 높았는데, 이는 교사가 다른 사람들보다 교과에 대한 특성을 이해하기 때문이다. 넷째, 실과의 편제와 운영에 대한 인식은 학생이 교사와 학부모에 비해 높은 것은 학생들이 실과 수업에 대한 흥미를 가지고 있기 때문이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out efficient strategies for practical arts education and providing basic material for curriculum revision on demand in practical arts in the future by examining, comparing and analyzing perception towards practical arts which have been underestimated in school settings despite its long history and great importance, among elementary school teachers, elementary school students and their parents. The survey research method was used in this study. The subjects of the study were elementary school teachers, elementary school students and their parents in 9 elementary schools located in Daegu metropolitan city and Gyeongsang bukdo. As a result, the following findings were derived. First, less the teachers career term, higher the teachers level of perception toward the Practical Arts education, that is, continuing education for Practical Arts subject should be followed. Second, the perception toward Practical Arts education of fifth graders is higher than sixth graders, and students perception toward Practical Arts education in larger cities is higher than students in other areas. Third, teachers perception toward Practical Arts education level is higher than others because teachers understand and recognize the importance of Practical Arts education while others don t. Fourth, the perception level of the curriculum and management of the Practical Arts subject is higher among elementary school students rather than among teachers and parents because students are more interested in Practical Arts class activities.
