낭만적 민족주의가 중국 및 동북아정치체제에 미친 영향

국문 초록

독일에서 발현된 낭만적 민족주의는 당시대의 시대정신이 얼마나 많은 역사적 파급효과를 반영하고 있는가를 잘 보여주고 있다. 이는 독일을 포함하는 동유럽 전반을 지배했고, 나아가 일본을 통해 동아시아 전역으로 퍼져나갔다. 현재 지속적인 경제발전을 추구하고 있는 중국은 향후 어떤 정치체제로 전환되든지 간에, 국가와 인민 사이에서의 주권문제 해결을 피해갈 수 없다. 일본은 자유주의에 입각한 시민적 민족주의를 제대로 발전시키지 않을 경우, 일본의 앞서가는 정치력과 경제력에도 불구하고, 국제사회의 진정한 지도국가로서 인정받기 힘들어질 수 있다. 남북한 간의 이념문제는 중일보다 더욱 뿌리 깊고 체제 현실적이다. 이는 민족통일이라는 보편화된 상식적 인식이 양측 체제의 통치정통성과 깊은 연관성을 맺고 있기 때문이다. 한국은 북한의 백두혈통과 주체사상이 내포하고 있는 낭만적 민족주의 사조를 제대로 간파해 내어야 한다. 북한이 주장하는 사상적 기조와 이것이 반영되어 나타나는 북한의 사회현상들을 제대로 읽어내지 못할 경우, 한국 국민들이 원하는 한반도에서의 진정한 평화통일은 현실화되기 힘들다. 그러나 한국이 이미 확립된 자유민주주의체제를 공고화하고 보다 발전된 시민적 민족주의를 발현시킬 수 있다면, 한국은 북한과의 통일을 이루고 명실공이 확고한 근대국가의 면모를 갖춘 이후, 이를 발판으로 동북아국가들을 정치적, 사상적으로 선도하는 지도국가로서의 면모를 갖출 수 있다.

영문 초록

The romantic nationalism, which was firstly revealed in Germany at the end of Preussen era, had been wide-spread into the East Europe and Northeast Asian regions. The Meiji government of Japan had artificially utilized German romantic nationalism in order effectively to build a quick modern-state under the strong symbolic influence of Emperor, revealing Japanese ethnic superiority in Asia. The Japanese thought of romantic nationalism quickly spreaded into China and Korea under the name of modern types of civilization. Now, its political impact has been still alive in the modern political foams of Northeast Asian countries. No matter how China has been developing it s economy further, China is going to face the problems of the hyper ethnic nationalism in related with the issue of people s sovereignty. Japan also has to convince the world that Japan can develop a sustainable liberal democracy over the criticism on the past-history distortion. The possible assumption of national cooperation between South and North Korea as a same ethnic groups has caused the South-South conflicts as a indelible scar in the South Korean society. Particularly, the North Korean insisting concept of same lace or same blood theory has been always fully utilized by North Korea in terms of it s strategies of communizing the whole Korean peninsula. In spite of the current political situation in Northeast Asia if South Korea successfully establishes it s state policy of liberal democracy further, it will help to gradually pave the road to the peaceful unification of Korea. If South Korea can unify North Korea under the current liberal democracy, the unified Korea can be developed into as one of top leading countries in Asia.
