인지적 관점에서의 ‘很+NP’ 구문 연구

국문 초록

본 논문은 현대 중국어 속 비문법적인 표현인 ‘很+NP’ 구문이 형성될 수 있는 원인을 부사와 명사의 상호 연계적 관계 속에서 찾아보았다. 또한 LCCM 이론을 도입하여 ‘很+NP’ 구문형성에 내재하는 인지기제를 분석하였다. 특히 ‘很中国’를 예로 삼아 ‘很+NP’ 구문에 활용되는 NP가 어떻게 어휘개념을 통해 인지모형 윤곽에서 가장 적절한 어휘개념을 선택하여 특정한 문맥 의존적 해석을 얻는지 분석하였다. 또한 NP의 환유적 개념작용이 발생하는 해석 과정을 LCCM 이론으로 설명하였다. 이를 통해 부사가 명사를 수식할 수 있는 심층 원인은 주로 수식을 받는 명사가 사용 문맥에서 단어의 고유한 의미 변이를 통해 특정하게 해석되기 때문으로 부사가 명사를 수식할 수 있는 인지적 합리성의 근거를 제공함을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The present dissertation sought, within the mutual relationship between adverb and noun, the cause as to how the ungrammatical expression of the ‘hen+NP’ construction could be formed. The ‘hen+NP’ construction places a degree adverb ‘hen’ in front of NP and promotes the expression of the state and property of the noun by using it as a grammatical means or a formal marker. It was found that most of the NPs modified by such degree adverbs have abundant additional meanings such as property and state meanings based on conceptual meanings. The study also analyzed the cognitive mechanism inherent to the formation of the ‘hen+NP’ construction by adopting LCCM theory. The examples of ‘hen+zhongguo’ in particular allowed the study to analyze how the NP utilized in the ‘hen+NP’ construction obtains a context-sensitive interpretation by selecting the most adequate lexical concepts from the cognitive model outline. Furthermore, the study explains the interpretive process in which the metonymic conception of NP occurs, with LCCM theory. The underlying cause as to how an adverb can modify a noun is mainly found in the modified noun, which is particularly interpreted through the intrinsic semantic shift of the word in the context that it is used in, and this is shown to provide the grounds for cognitive rationality whereby an adverb can modify a noun.
