「안민가」를 통해본 충담다례 연구

국문 초록

한국의 차문화는 오랜 전통 속에서 이어져온 격조 높은 飮茶文化로서 儒·佛·道의 심오한 사상과 깊은 연관을 가지고 있다. 일연의 『삼국유사』에 수록된 향가는 신라인의 정신적 바탕과 생활모습을 짐작케 한다. 승려였던 충담이 찬술한 「안민가」는 경덕왕의 요청으로 민생 안정의 방도를 제시한 것이다. 이를 통해 백성을 자식같이 사랑하고 그들이 안정하여 나라의 은혜에 감사하는 정치를 권고한 내용을 엿볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 신라시대의 사회문화에 대한 이해를 토대로 신라시대의 차문화를 고찰함으로써 올바른 충담다례문화 정립에 기여하고자 한다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통일신라시대 경덕왕대는 정치적 혼란기였으나 차 문화는 융성한 시대였다. 둘째, 『삼국유사』에 실린 향가 14首중 5首가 경덕왕대에 제작되어 한국 詩歌문학사상 큰 의의를 지닌다. 셋째, 충담이 찬술한 「안민가」는 교술시가로서는 최초의 작품으로 시대에 부합하는 불교와 유교사상에 바탕을 둔 향가이다. 넷째, 충담 다례법은 후세 다인들에게 물려 줄 문화적 유산으로서의 가치와 의미를 지니고 있다. 충담다례 재현을 통하여 전통다례문화 계승복원과 아울러 우리 전통적사상과 의미를 되찾아 올바른 다례법이 후세 다인에게 전수되어 우리의 생활문화로 자리매김 되어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 「안민가」를 바탕으로 충담과 향가, 신라시대 차 문화를 고찰하였으므로 후속연구로 충담에 관한 자료를 발굴하여 향가나 국문학, 사학분야에 치중된 연구에서 벗어나 차 문화의 전통을 잇는 심도있는 차 문헌연구가 이루어져 차 학문의 정립이 되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Korean tea culture is dignified drinking tea culture that has been continued in old tradition, which is profound idea that is related to Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. Hyanga (old Korean folk song) that is written in 『The Heritage of the Three States』of Ilyeon provides a sense of spiritual background and lifestyle of Shinla people. 『Anminga』that is edited by Chungdam who was a buddhist monk suggested a method of public welfare stability in request of King Kyungdeok. Through this, it may see contents that suggested politic that loves the subjects like son and daughter and appreciates for country s grace as they are stabilized. So, in this study, it tries to contribute to establishment of Chungdam tea ceremony as it considers tea culture of Shinla era based on understanding about social culture of Shinla. The study result is as following. First, even though king Kyeongdeok period of unified Shinla era was political confused stage, it was flourishing era in tea culture. Second, since 5 of 14 hyangas that is on 『The Heritage of the Three States』was created in king Kyeongdeok period, it has huge meaning in Korea classic poetry history. Third, 「Anminga」edited by Chungdam is the first poetry that fits to generation as didactic poetry based on Buddhist and Confucian idea. Fourth, Chungdam tea ceremony has value and meaning as cultural heritage that turns over to future tea people. Through re-creation of Chungdam tea ceremony, with taking our traditional idea and meaning back, right tea ceremony method should be handed down to next generation and should be established as our life culture along with succession and restoration of traditional tea ceremony culture. In this study, since it considered Chungdam, hyanga, and tea culture of Shinla era based on 「Anminga」, in-depth tea literature research that continues tea culture tradition should be made and tea study should be established as it gets out of the study that is focussed on hyanga, Korean literature, and historical study sector.
