영문 초록

This paper investigates networks of high technology venture firms, being operated in the Taejon area. A maior questionnaire survey has been conducted to gather data on the networks of venture firms, that are created often from large research institutions of Daeduck Science Park. An important question addressed in the paper is whether the science park contributes to the local economy. After analysing the questionnaire data, the paper concludes that the science park does contribute to the local economy, by creating spin-off companies and assisting the companies. The paper also suggests theoretical and policy implications.
