영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the procedure in the establishment of the Kyungbuk Technopark and its effect. There are abundant workforce and equipment for research, a place ease of access, a variety of industries combination, adjacent to a metropolitan city, Taegu, and the pleasant environment as conditions of location in Kyungsan region. These things work as conditions of regional innovation. In addition to, inhabitants have a great concern to this procedure. The procedure in establishing the Kyungbuk Technopark upon the basis of this are divided into three periods largely; the 1st period, the quickening one, which Yeungnam university led, the 2nd period, the foundation one, which a committee for the Kyungbuk Technopark was organized by a variety of cooperation between universities, research centers, industries, and governments, and the 3rd period, the activated period, which the Kyungbuk Technopark as a juridical foundation was established, after selecting the government - sponsor - ed model Technopark, small and medium sized industries` moved in it and they are working outstandingly. The great meaning of the Kyungbuk Technopark lies in a cooperative regional development model by combining between universities, research centers, private companies and government in order to innovate the region. Kyungsan region has changed a typical small city which located in a metropolitan city nearby into an innovated one with the Kyungbuk Technopark. The will toward cooperative development among participants, and the organic relationships among various projects bore good results.
