영문 초록

This article attempts to find out policy performance of regional economic programs at the local government level. 80 municipalities are interviewed to collect data concerning 10 Major variables. Firstly, factor analysis indicated that they traditionally employed the supply oriented policy measures including tax exemptions and financial loan programs. Secondly, high competitive regions appear to have more demand oriented programs such as innovative and entrepreneurial policy devices. Thirdly, it also find out that regional competition is strong1y associated with the policy complexity and comprehensiveness.
