영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate general perceptions and opinions about integrating educational serious games into English learning contents. A two-round Delphi survey was administered to 10 English Education professionals and 10 sports professionals. The major findings of this survey are as following: with regard to the 'expected effect,' young children can learn the English language through educational serious games causing them to reduce their anxiety and increase. It is expected that children are prone to playing educational games at home, at the playground, or at an English institute. It would also be important to develop a friendly user interfaceand include catchy English songs in the background for children to sing along to. This study may ultimately provide English educators, researchers and game developers towards the direction of developing more effective serious games.
