발달재활서비스 제공 치료사의 소진극복요인에 대한 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 발달재활서비스 제공 치료사들의 소진극복요인에 대한 경험을 Van Kaam의 현상학적 질적 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 전문성 강화와 주변 자원의 지지 및 인정, 그리고 내적인 역량 강화 등의 3개 범주 순으로 소진극복요인을 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과에서 타 치료분야의 교육, 연수, 학회 등에 참여, 전공 외 분야의 자격증 취득과 진학 등과 같은 소진 극복요인에 대한 몇 개의 새로운 범주 유형과 순위가 나타났는데, 이들 대부분은 치료사들의 개인적인 노력들이라는 점을 알 수 있다. 본 연구결과 는 발달재활서비스 제공 치료사의 소진 극복을 통한 장애인 발달재활서비스의 질을 향상시키기 위한 실천적인 대안을 모색하는데 있어서 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대하며, 계속적인 후속연구의 필요성과 치료사의 소진예방과 극복을 위해 국가의 제도적인 지원이 요구되며 발달재활서비스제공기관 또한 보다 적극적으로 치료사의 소진에 대처해야 함을 제언하 였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the experiences of therapist in the developmental rehabilitation services provider regarding burnout overcome factors by using Van Kamm’s phenomenological qualitative research method. In consequence, therapist appeared to experience burnout overcome factors according to the following three categories in order: expertise reinforcement, support and recognition from neighboring resources, internal capacity reinforcement. Furthermore, the research surveyed new types of categories and a ranking of burnout overcome factors among therapists in the developmental rehabilitation ser vices provider: participation in education, training and society of non-special area; acquisition of certificate and entrance in non-special area; positive change, support and recognition of client and client’s parents; support and recognition of non work-related people; participation in psychotherapy program. It is hoped that results of this study will be used as basic information in seeking practical alternatives to overcome burnouts of therapists in various areas as well as those in developmental rehabilitation services. Also the research suggested the followings: that consecutive studies be executed, that systematic aid and support be provided to overcome factors of burnout according to the results of this study, that educational and psychological programs be provided by national system and systematically aided to protect and overcome burnout, and the developmental rehabilitation services provider react more actively against burnout of therapists.
