창의성의 다측면적 구인에 대한 이론적 탐색

국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 다양한 창의성의 개념을 공통의 다층면적 틀(framework) 안에서 설명하기 위한 이론적 토대를 세우는 것이다. 구체적으로, 창의성의 다른 두 형태인 확산적 사고와 창의적 전문성 수행(창의적 산물, 창의적 문제해결력)의 인지적, 동기적, 성격적 구인을 비교·분석하였다. 확산적 사고에서는 영역 일반적인 인지적 능력, 창의성에 대한 태도, 가치, 행동양식과 같은 창의성 동기, 영역 일반적인 창의적 성격이 강조되는 경향이 있다. 반면 창의적 전문성 수행에서는 영역 특수적인 지식과 기술, 과제 수행에 대한 일반 동기, 영역의 기능에 따라 달라지는 성격5요인의 특징이 강조되는 경향이 있다. 이는 영역 일반적 창의성과 영역 특수적 창의성의 차이, 창의성 요인과 전문성 요인의 차이, 창의성의 과정과 창의성의 수행의 차이가 그 원인이될 수 있다. 본 논문의 한계점과 향후 방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to build a theoretical basis for explaining diverse concepts of creativity within a common multidimensional framework. Specifically, this study analyzed and compared the cognitive, motivational, and personality constructs that predict two different forms of creativity: divergent thinking and creative expert performance (creative products and creative problem solving). Divergent thinking is more likely to focus on domain-general creative abilities; creativity motivation including values, attitudes, and behaviors on creativity; and domain-general creative personality. On the other hand, creative expert performance is more likely to focus on domain-specific knowledge and skill, general motivation for task performance, and the big five personality traits that may differ as a function of domain. This may be because of the difference between domain-general creativity versus domain-specific creativity, creativity factors versus expertise factors, and creativity process versus creativity performance. Limitations and future directions are discussed.
