다변량 일반화가능도 이론을 활용한 창의성 예비검사의 신뢰도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 창의성의 다차원적인 속성 및 검사 대상의 발달단계를 고려하여 개발된 창의성 예비검사 문항들을 활용하여 집단 별 창의성 검사점수에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 상대적 영향력 및 신뢰도 향상을 위한 효율적 측정 조건을 알아보는 데 있다. 창의성은 영역일반성과 특수성 양자의 속성을 모두 가지고있을 뿐만 아니라 연령이나 학년 등 검사 대상의 발달단계를 고려해야 함에도 불구하고 기존에 개발된 대부분의 국내외 지필식 창의성 검사도구들은 이에 대한 충분한 고려가 이루어지지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 저학년용(초등학교 5학년~중학교 2학년 학생 대상)과 고학년용(중학교 3학년~고등학교 3학년 학생 대상) 예비검사 문항에 대한 반응(N=257, 저학년용 149부, 고학년용 109부)을 분석하여 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 창의성 예비검사점수에 기여하는 오차 요인들의 상대적인 영향력은 대체로 고학년집단에서 저학년 집단보다 크게 나타났다. 둘째, 문항 수보다는 영역 수를 증가시키는 경우, 적정수준의 신뢰도에 도달하는데 보다 더 효율적인 측정조건으로 나타났지만, 각 집단에서 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있는구체적인 측정 조건들은 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 차후 개발될 창의성 검사도구에 포함되는 영역이나 문항들이 집단(예: 연령이나 학년)에 따라 달라져야 하며, 창의성 검사도구에 대한 신뢰도 분석을 수행할 때 영역과 문항을 포함해서 다양한 변인들을 함께 고려할 것을 제안하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to improve the measurement conditions of a creativity test and the relative influence of the factors affecting test reliability. Most of the paper-and-pencil creativity tests do not involve multi-dimensional factors of creativity, and the factors included in the creative tests are likely to be identical by students’ age or grade levels. This study involved 257 students and grouped them into two, such as a lower grade level group (149 students in 5th through 8th grades) and a higher grade level group (109 students in 9th through 12th grades), in order to examine if the number and content of the creativity test items vary by the students’ grade levels and if identifying students by grade ultimately enhances the reliability of the test. Major results showed that the relative magnitude of the variance components that contributes to error scores of the creativity test showed larger values for students in the higher grade level group than in the lower grade level group. Specific measurement conditions leading to enhanced reliability indices varied by students’ grade levels. However, for both groups, increasing the number of domains raised the reliability indices more than did increasing the number of items within the domains. This study substantiated that the effects of the domains and the items involved in the creativity test likely vary by students’ ages or grades and that various factors ought to be considered to analyze reliability indices for creativity tests.
