상상의 공동체, 부산의 마을 만들기와 문학 연구의 한 방향

국문 초록

전지구적 자본축적이 심화되어 가는 시대적 변화가 던지는 문학연구와 교육의 의의와 가치에 관한 질문에 적극적으로 응답해야 할 필요성으로부터 이 논문은 시작되었다. 부산의 문학 연구가 전방위적으로 이루어지고 있음에 반해, 부산시가 활발히 추진하고 있는 지역재생 사업과 문화콘텐츠ㆍ스토리텔링 사업에 관해서는 관심이 부족하다는 점에 착안하여 먼저 부산시의 도시재생 사업 및 마을 만들기라는 공간기획이 문화콘텐츠와 스토리텔링 개발과 연동되며 진행되는 양상을 검토하고 여기에서 발견한 문제점을 개선하기 위한 이론적 토대를 마련하고자 했다. 커뮤니티 중심의 지역 재생은 일상의 미학화, 괄호넣기를 근간으로 이루어지는데, 그 결과 주민들은 마을재생 사업의 주체로 호명된 것 같지만 사실상 세계 자본에 종속될(subject to) 위험에 노출된다. 따라서 새로운 방식의 공동체를 상상할 필요가 있다. 근대의 상상의 공동체, 네이션이 출현하는 것에 인쇄술-문자문화-소설이 기여했다면, 탈근대의 시대인 오늘날 새로운 상상의 공동체를 출현하게 하는 것은 디지털 매체-구술문화-스토리텔링이 될 수 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 스토리텔링의 주체들이 차이 속의 동일성을 읽어내고 동일성 속의 개별성을 발견할 수 있는 방법론과 스토리텔링을 문화콘텐츠로 전유하는 방법론을 대략적으로 제안했다. 이러한 연구 범위의 확장은 국문학의 교수 내용을 실천과 미학이 융합된 새로운 방향으로 재구조화할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to answer to the questions about meaning and worth of literature study and education from the change of times, deepening global capitalism. Whereas literature studies in Busan have been made in all directions ever, it seems less interested in urban regeneration project in this city and cultural contents and storytelling business promoted actively by Busan. So it reviewed the proceeding state of urban regeneration project and cultural contents and storytelling business, and then provided a theoretical basis for improving the problems. The community design oriented urban regeneration project has been by the foundation to make everyday life aesthetically, to put it into parentheses, as a result, residents and their life have been exposed to the risk of being dependent on global capital. Therefore, it is necessary to imagine a community in a new way. According to Benedic Anderson's opinion, it is typography - character culture-novel to contribute to emergence of modern 'imagined communities', 'nation', whereas, it could be a digital media - oral culture - storytelling to contribute to emergence of post-modern imagined communities. Following on the assumptions of the previous, this study suggest the methodology that subject of storytelling can read identity in the difference and appropriate the storytelling to cultural contents, to find the specific potential, Expanding the scope of literature studies will restructure teaching content of literature into a new direction with being fused practice and aesthetics.
