영문 초록

Using an importance-performance analysis(IPA), this paper examined Chinese students' perception of importance of Samgyetang selection attributes and their satisfaction level and investigated the relationship between selection attributes dimensions and their overall satisfaction. IPA indicated that foodservice industry should maintain the current level of efforts in the areas of food quality, flavor, healthiness, and smell. This finding would fit well with the Chinese' concern for their health in life, which indicate the possibility of Samgyetang as a tourism product for them in the future. Additional factor analysis of selection attributes revealed that there were four dimensions: tradition, appearance, quality, and value. In the relationship between selection attributes dimensions and overall satisfaction, food quality and tradition contributed statistically significantly to the customer satisfaction. The study concludes with the implications of the results and suggests some future research topics.
