목자와 양의 비유를 통한 교회와 세상과의 관계 고찰

국문 초록

2014. 4. 16일 인천을 출항해 제주도로 가던 세월호가 침몰되어 삼백여명의 사망자가 발생하였다. 운항하던 배가 갑작스런 사고로 인해 침몰한 것은 발생가능성이 있을 수 있는 일이었다 할지라도, 승무원들이 승객들을 먼저 구조하고자 하는 의지만 있었다면 사망자의 수를 최소화할 수 있는 사건이었다. 기독교적 관점에서 이 세월호 침몰 사고는 영적으로 많은 생각을 하게 한다. 그 중에 가장 중요한 것이 기독교인은 명목상 기독교인으로 그쳐서는 안되고 예수님의 생명을 지닌 기독교인이 되어야 한다는 가르침이다. 그래서 요한복음 10장에 기록된 목자와 양의 비유를 통해 교회와 세상과의 관계를 고찰하여 보았다. 목자와 양의 비유는 세상을 양을 해치고 미혹하는 사나운 들짐승이나 삯군목자가 활개치는 부정적인 곳으로 나타내고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 예수님의 생명을 전하는 것을 가장 중요한 사역으로 삼아야할 세상속의 교회의 모습은 세속화의 깊은 수렁에서 세상을 변화시킬 영적 생명에 관심을 갖기보다는, 세상적인 교회의 운영과 성장에 관심을 가지고 있는 실정이다. 교회가 세상에 대해 무관심한 것도 문제이지만, 교회가 세상과 같아지는 것은 더욱 문제가 심각하다. 우리들이 섬기는 교회는 세상 사람들의 구원을 이루게 하는 예수님의 생명을 전하고, 그 예수님의 생명이 교회 구성원들의 삶을 통해 열매 맺는 제자들로 양육하는 세상을 위한 교회상으로 회복해야 한다. 그러므로 이번 세월호 참사는 세속주의에 물든 교회에 대한 경고와 물질주의 세상에 대한 하나님의 경고임을 한국교회는 자각해야 한다.

영문 초록

On the day of April 16, 2014 the Sewol ferry had been sinking down on his way from Incheon to Jeju and occurred about three hundred passenger's deaths. Was operated by the ship sank due to a sudden accident can be one thing, but the first passengers to crew only had the willingness structure to minimize the number of deaths in the accident. On the Christian perspective, the Sewol ferry sinking down make me a lot of thought on spiritually. The most important thing is that Christians are not to be nominally Christian, but to be real Christian who has the life of Jesus. So written in John 10 through the parable of the sheep and the shepherds, I research the relationship between the Church and the world. The parable of the shepherd has showed a world of negatives values which it harm to sheep and move in false shepherds. But the Church of the genus world which must make the most important ministry to tell the life of Jesus for change the world look deep trouble in the secularisation, rather than having an interest in the world of the church has an interest in operating and growing. Another problem is unconcerned about the world, but the church, the church and the world, which I think is even more serious problem. We serve the people of the world for the salvation of the church led to tell the life of Jesus, that the life of Jesus through the lives of church members to nurture fruitful disciples award for the world church should be restored. So this time of Sewol ferry tragedy is God's warning to be aware of that for the church is steeped in secularism and materialism.
