국문 초록

보육시설은 다른 교육기관에 비해 인간관계가 더욱더 밀접한 조직이기 때문에 어린이집원장의 리더십은 교사들의 직무만족도, 업무성과 등에 많은 영향을 미치게 되며, 그 결과는 보육서비스의 질적 수준에도 밀접한 영향을 미치고 있다. 어린이집원장의 덕목으로써 변화와 개혁시대에 비전을 줄 수 있는 리더십, 조직문화와 윤리를 새롭게 창출할 수 있는 안목과 설득력 있는 리더십, 보육시설 운영을 타당성 있게 수립하고 합리적으로 실천하는 변혁적 리더십이 절실히 요구되고 있다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 어린이집원장의 변혁적 리더십 정도와 보육교사의 직무만족, 조직몰입을 강화시켜 최종적으로는 보육시설의 질적인 향상과 보육의 질 제고를 위한 정책적 방향이 제시되어야 할 필요성이 제기된다.

영문 초록

As interpersonal relationships are closer in childcare centers than in any other educational institutions, the leadership of childcare center principals exerts a huge influence on the job satisfaction and job performance of teachers, which largely affects, in turn, the quality of childcare services. Childcare center principals should exert a visionary leadership, which is to present a vision in line with today's needs for change and innovation, an insightful and persuasive leadership, which can serve to create a new organizational culture and new ethics, and a transformational leadership, which can ensure the validity and rationality of management. Indeed, it's required to boost the transformational leadership of principals and the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of teachers to enhance the quality of childcare centers and childcare services.
