영문 초록

Rapid reliability analysis and prediction during the early stage in the product development and design, enable the small and medium-sized business to make better quality product, leads to savings of R&D cost and improvement of satisfaction for customer. This paper is to report the development of spreadsheet-based reliability software, ERAT (Excel-based Reliability Analysis Toolkit) which has been developed based on spreadsheet software that quality and reliability end-users can easily be accessible and is easy to use. ERAT was developed using Microsoft Excel 2010 with Excel Macro and VBA(Visual Basic for Application). It was designed to accommodate parametric and nonparametric reliability data analysis. Reliability data analysis toolkit use exponential distribution, weibull distribution and lognormal distribution analysis module and provide the functionality for complete data, single type I censored data, singly type II censored data and multiply censored data. In addition, parameter estimation, calculation of confidence intervals, MTTF, and the failure rate were implemented. By utilizing the ERAT, It is expected to save cost of reliability analysis system implementation in small and medium-sized business level and to conduct for quality and reliability engineer reliability data analysis task with ease during early stage of product development.
