영문 초록

Recently, there is an increase in a need for safety in our society because of frequent accidents and man-made disaster. However, majority of the people are so insensitive to safety that they are still exposed to a large number of risks. Safety is a minimal demand for happiness and a means to protect oneself from dangerous situations. Therefore, it is necessary to fulfill early safety education. Unlike adults, children are in lack of an ability to cope with dangerous situations. Elementary school, a place of whole-person education, needs to inspect diverse safety activities provided there in order for the children to live a safe and healthy life. The purpose of this study is to seek ways to make school the safest place for children, for example, by expending the role of not only students, teachers and staff but also outside lecturer and the cooperation with local residents to achieve a culture of safe school.
