屛溪의 시문에 투영된 인식과 그 사유

국문 초록

병계 윤봉구는 18세기 조선의 이학사에서 중요한 위치에 자리하는 인물이다. 병계는 200수에 가까운 한시 연작을 통해, 정치 문화 사회 군사 등 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 그 자신의 사유제계를 구축하였다 그것은 당대의 말폐적인 현상에 대한 비판은 물론이고 대안이나 해법의 제시에까지 나아간 것이었다 당대 사회에 대한 병계의 진단은 '窮則變'이란 말을 통해 엿볼 수 있는데, 이는 당대 사회를 보는 병계의 시각이 그만큼 부정적이라는 사실을 말하는 것이다. 조선 후기에 대한 종전의 일반적인 연구경향은 선취적인 인식을 보인 인물에 집중되어 왔던 것이 사실이다. 그런데 전통적인 사유와 논리로 무장한 병계에게도 당대 時弊 대한 고민이 토로되고 있다는 점에서, 연구의 편폭이 확장될 필요가 있음을 확인할 수 있겠다. 이학사의 추이에 대한 병계의 입장은 퇴계와 율곡으로 대표되는 두 흐름 중 뚜렷이 율곡학파로 경사되어 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 보다 주목할 점은 이러한 입장이 한시 작품을 통해서도 노골적으로 토로되고 있다는 사실이다. 이를 두고 당색이 일정 정도 작품 창작에까지 개입되고 있다고 볼 수도 있겠다. 그렇지만 병계 자신이 호락논쟁의 전개에서 호론의 핵심적인 논객으로 자리한 철학자였으니만큼 다른 차원에서의 숙고가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

Byeong-Ke(屛溪) is very important person in the 17th philosophical history of Chosun Dynasty. With the series of Hansi(漢詩) that were about 200 pieces. Byeong Ke had constructed a own system of thought throughout politics. culture, society and military tactics. Over the criticism of the corruptions of those days, that had went to making the alternative plans. The cognition of Byeong-Ke about his society can be seen from the idea of 'Change at the time of crisis(窮則變)'. That shows that how dark and negative the cognition of Byeong-Ke's. I think that the trend of study of the latter period of Chosun Dynasty has been concentrated in people who made a preoccupational cognition. But the fact that a traditional intellectual Byeong Ke with the traditional knowledges and theories had showed the criticism of the corruptions of his society says to us that the territory of study have to be widened. The standpoint of Byeong-Ke of the procedure of the philosophical history was clearly inclined to Yulgok(票谷) school. Furthermost, I think it is more important that the standpoint of Byeong-Ke was told distinctively upon his works. It is possible to say that the party spirit might have infiltrated into his works. But I think it is another thing because Byeong-Ke was the most major theoriest of Horan(湖論) in the process of 'The debate between Ho and Nak(湖洛論爭).
