국문 초록

'물질경시'와 '물질남용'이라는 병리적 현상에 처한 우리 시대가 맞이한 생태적 위기 속에서 우리가 스스로에게 던져야 할 질문이 있다. '나는 과연 생태적 인간인가?' 혹은 '생태계 위기라는 불편한 진실 앞에서 왜 여전히 나는 생태적 인간이 아닌가?' 이러한 질문은 우리가 생태계 파괴를 통한 현실적 종말이라는 불편한 진실 속에서 여전히 우리는 '무뎌진 양심'을 정화하고 '이기적 유전자'를 극복하려는 '생태적 감각과 영성'을 갖지 못한 이유를 묻게 한다. 모든 종교인이 지닌 신앙 감각에는 생태적 삶의 보편적 가치, 즉 "하느님의 온 우주 만물 공동체를 살리는 일, 하느님의 온 집안 공동체를 생동하게 만드는 일"을 뜻하는 생태(ecology)를 지향할 것을 요청받는다. 오늘날 그리스도교는 왜곡된 인간중심적인 자연관과 자연의 '탈신성화'를 가속시킨 이원적 윤리체계로 말미암아 오늘날 환경의 재앙의 원인이라는 비판에 대해 생태적 감각의 회복을 요청받고 있다. 그리스도교는 생태적 인간관의 회복을 위하여 첫째로, '생태학적 성경 해석'을 통하여 인간중심적 구원과 영육 이원론적 사유인 '죄-죽음'의 맥락에서 해석해온 전통적인 성경읽기에서 벗어나 성경의 맥락(context)을 생태학적 관심으로 새롭게 해석하여 하느님의 창조사건 자체를 "인간 존재를 위한 근원적 은총상태"로 보거나, 자연을 인간의 지배를 벗어나 피조물 본연의 가치를 가진 것으로 이해하려는 성경해석의 길을 필요로 한다. 둘째로 생태주의자 예수의 길을 찾아 그리스도교가 "새로운 종교가 아닌 새로운 삶"을 제시한 예수의 길을 따라 "문자에 얽매인 신앙이나 율법에 대한 충성이 아니라 우리 안에 신적인 것에 예민하게 감응하고, 우리를 둘러싼 신적인 것에 대해 열려"있는 종교인임을 고백해야 한다. 예수가 보여준 독특한 '신앙 감각'은 창조주 하느님과 생명을 더 신뢰하는 길이었다. 예수의 신앙 감각은 선택된 인간만의 구원도 아니고, 특정한 율법의 테두리에서 살 수 있는 이들을 향한 것이 아니었다. 예수는 '하느님으로부터의 자기 존재'를 인식하면서 생태적 양심과 생명에 대한 근원적 신뢰를 통해 '영적 생태주의'의 길이 무엇인지를 보여주었다. 21세기를 살아가는 그리스도인들은 예수가 보여준 생태 영성을 따라 걸어가야 할 시대적 소명을 받고 있다. 우리 시대의 생태 영성은 인식 지평의 생태적 전향과 생태적 회심을 절실하게 필요로 한다. 생태계 위기를 극복하기 위한 "진정한 변화는 참된 인식, 주의 깊음, 예민함을 통해서만" 일어나기 때문이다. 그리스도인의 생태 영성을 위한 첫 번째 길은 전통 신학의 주제들을 오늘날의 신학의 장에로 옮기는 신학적 전위의 타당성을 숙고하는 지적인 회심으로부터 시작되어야 한다. 신학적 전위의 노력들은 오늘날 생태계 위기에 맞서 자연의 주체성을 발견하기 위한 신학적 노력의 '우선적 선택'이자 '신학적 지적 회심의 과정'이라고 볼 수 있다. 두 번째는 그리스도인의 생태 영성은 생태적 회심을 이끄는 생태적 휴머니즘을 통하여 생태적 실천에로 나아갈 수 있는 도덕적 회심을 필요로 한다. 생태적 휴머니즘의 길이란 "적게 소유하고, 나은 삶을 살기" 위한 가치관의 변화와 "자기가 할 수 있는 일이 너무나 적다고 그 일을 하지 않는 사람보다 더 큰 실수를 저지르는 사람은 없다."는 윤리적 각성을 예수의 생태적 삶의 가치와 윤리적 감각을 따라 그리스도인들이 먼저 깨달을 필요가 있다. 셋째로 그리스도인의 생태 영성은 하느님과 생명을 향한 무한한 신뢰의 신앙 감각 속에서 수용되고, 정화되며, 고양된 예수의 생태적 감각 속에 뿌리를 내려야 한다는 영성적 회심을 필요로 한다. 이를 위해서는 먼저 예수가 보여준 대자연과 유대인들만이 아닌 이방인들을 향해 열린 하느님의 보편적 구원과 사랑의 대화를 통한 상생의 길을 찾는 것으로부터 시작할 수 있다. 생태적 영성이 요청되는 21세기 인류는 기계론적 세계관과 인간중심주의에서 벗어나 생태적 이성과 생태적 창조성을 회복하는 것을 과제로 한다. 생태적 영성은 단순히 생태계 위기에 대한 공감이나 사유의 전환에 그쳐서는 안 되고 생태적 대안들이 실천으로 이어져야 할 것을 요청한다. 오늘날 생태계 위기를 극복하기 위한 실천적 대안으로 "자연 속에서 계속 자라나는 것을 이용하기, 자연이 우리에게 항상 아무런 대가 없이 베풀어주는 태양, 바이오매스, 바람과 물을 이용하는 것"을 강조한 바 있다. 하지만 생태 영성의 이러한 구체적인 실천적 대안들은 인간이 자연과 더불어, 자연 속에서 함께 살아가고 있음을 각성하는 개개인의 생태적 회심이 전제되어야 한다. 동시에 그리스도인을 포함한 모든 종교인들이 자신의 종교적 신념 속에 자연 본연(本然)의 가치를 인정하고 자연과의 조화로운 삶 속에서 참된 구원을 체험하는 종교적 회심

영문 초록

There is a self-question facing on the ecological crisis of pathological phenomena called 'material despises' and 'material abuse'. "Am I a truly ecological person?" or "Why am I not an ecological person in front of the discomfort truth of ecological crisis?" The discomfort truth is the realistic end through ecosystem destruction. These questions are asking us the reasons of not having ecological sense and spirituality to purify our 'dull conscience' and to get over 'selfish gene'. All believers are requested to head for ecology, which is universal value of ecological life, which means "to save God's all creation, and to animate with God's all community". Today, Christianity is requested to recover this ecological sense against the criticism that of current ecological crisis derived from dual ethics system that distorted human-central idea and accelerated nature 'ex-sanctify'. There are 2 things that Christianity is supposed to restore ecological human view. First, a new way to understand the Bible through an ecological point of view. Traditionally, the Bible was understood in the context of 'sin-death' dualism and human-central salvation. New way is to understand God's creation in point of ecological concern, which means to see the Creation as to 'fundamental blessing for Human' or to see the Nature of its own value free from Human control. Second, to seek and to follow the way of Jesus, the ecologist. Jesus presented Christianity 'not a new religion but new life'. All Christians should confess that"not bounded by a word or royal to law, but to respond to the divinity within us, and to open to divinity around us". This unique 'faith sense' which Jesus showed was put more faith in the God, Creator and Life. His sense was not restricted to the salvation of chosen people or the people in the specific boundary of law. He told us what the way of 'spiritual ecology' is with understanding 'self-recognition as a Creature through ecological conscience and fundamental trust on Life. Christians living in the 21st century are called to respond to the call of the times which is to follow this Jesus way. The spiritual ecology in this era badly need ecological shift of cognition and ecological conversion. Getting over ecological crisis comes from the changes of "true cognition, mindfulness and fine senses". There are 3 ways for Christian ecological spirituality. First way; starts from the Intellectual conversion. This is the way to think over theological abdication feasibility moving from traditional theological subjects to new fields. This theological abdication is regarded as to 'prior choice' and 'process of intellectual conversion' to find out nature's sovereignty against current ecological crisis. Second way; requires the moral conversion. The Christianity spirituality proceeds to ecological practice through ecological humanism which leads to ecological conversion. The ecological humanism way means the value change which is "own little for better life" and the ethical awakening of "There's no other mistake that who does nothing even though he can do little", that is Jesus' ecological life value and ethical sense. Third way; needs the spiritual conversion. Christian ecological spirituality is supposed to root down Jesus' adopted, purified and exalted ecological sense in his indefinite trust to God and Life. For this, it can start from seeking for win-win way through God's universal salvation and Love which are open to the Nature and Gentiles. The 21st century requires ecological spirituality. Men have assignment to recover ecological reason and ecological creation free from mechanistic world-view and human central idea. Ecological spirituality is not restricted on sharing ecological crisis but continue to practice it. The practical alternative proposal is "using growing things in the Nature." To use the Sun, Biomass, wind and water, those are provided without any cost. These suggestions are emphasized. But these practic
