정착수업이 초등학생의 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애학생의 행동과 학습에 효과적인 정착수업이 통합학급에서 활용되기 위해서는 비장애학생에게도 효과적인 수업 전략이어야 한다는 인식하에 수행되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 정착수업이 비장애초등학생의 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 정착수업(실험집단)과 전통적 수업(비교집단) 중재를 위한 2명의 교사와 80명의 초등학교 3학년 학생(실험집단 40명, 비교집단 40명)이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구 설계로 준실험설계 중 이질 통제집단 사전-사후검사 설계를 사용하였고, 독립변인은 수업방법, 종속변인은 자기주도적 학습능력이었다. 실험집단에는 총 17차시로 개발된 '민서의 생일파티' 정착수업이 중재되었고, 비교집단에는 총 17차시의 교사가 주도하는 전통적인 수업이 중재되었다. 연구 결과, 실험집단의 자기주도적 학습능력 점수가 비교집단의 점수보다 높게 나타났다. 이는 정착수업이 초등학교 3학년의 자기주도적 학습능력 향상에 효과적이었음을 의미한다. 연구 결과에 대한 논의와 제한점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study was executed under the recognition that anchored instruction, an effective instructional method for the behavior and the learning of students with disabilities, should also be an effective strategy for students without disabilities in order to be implemented in inclusive classrooms. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of anchored instruction on the self-directed learning abilities of elementary schol students. Two elementary school teachers and eighty elementary school students participated in the study. One teacher implemented the 'Minseo's Birthday Party' anchored instruction program to experimental group of forty students while another teacher implemented a traditional instruction to comparison group of forty students. Each intervention program was implemented during seventeen class-hour periods. The result of the study was that the self-directed learning ability score of the experimental group was higher than the score of the comparison group. This indicated that the anchored instruction was an effective instructional method to fostering the self-directed learning abilities of third grade elementary school students.
