국문 초록

이 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 1-2학년군 국어와 국어활동 교과서에 대한 만족도를 조사하는 것을 목적으로 하여, 전국 450개 초등학교 1, 2학년 담임교사, 2학년 학생 및 학부모를 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 국어와 국어활동 교과서에 대한 전반적인 만족도는 높게 나타났으며, 2007 개정 교육과정기 대비 만족도도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다만 교사들은 국어 교과서에 비해 국어활동 교과서에 대해서 낮은 만족도를 보였다. 내용 구성과 관련하여 전반적 만족도도 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 세부 항목에서 '학습 자료 및 활동의 유용성'에 가장 높은 만족도를 보였다. 반면 '학습 분량'과 '혼자 공부할 때의 이해 정도(자기 주도적 학습)'에 대하여 상대적으로 낮은 만족도를 보였다. 외형체제와 관련하여 전반적 만족도 또한 매우 높았으며, 세부 항목에서 지질, 색도, 서체, 편집 및 디자인에는 높은 만족을 보였다. 그에 비해 판형, 분량 및 쪽수에 대하여는 대체로 낮은 만족도를 나타내었다. 이러한 조사 결과를 바탕으로 하여 초등학교 1-2학년군 교과서의 내용 및 외형 체제의 개선 방안과 교과서 활용성 제고 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore textbook satisfaction of Korean language and Korean language activity in grade 1-2 elementary schools. For conducting this study, 1-2 grade students, their parents, and their teacher in 450 elementary schools participated in the satisfaction research. Firstly, for the Korean language and Korean activity language section, the content aspects of Korean showed higher overall textbook satisfaction. Also, overall satisfaction of Korean language and Korean language activity were higher in the 2009 revised curriculum, compared to the 2007 revised curriculum. However, teachers show a higher satisfaction of Korean language textbook than Korean activity language textbook. In detail, 'the availability of learning materials and activities' showed the highest satisfaction. In addition, 'learning materials and the availability of activities' showed the highest satisfaction, 'Amount of learning' and 'degree of understanding when studying alone (self-directed learning)' showed a relatively low satisfaction. Secondly, the external system of overall satisfaction was also higher. Especially quality of paper, color, fonts, and designs are highly satisfied, but format, quantity and pages were low. From the results of this study, the educational implications can be suggested as follows; improvement plans about contents and external system of an elementary school 1-2 grade textbook and textbook application plans should be considered significantly.
