노인의 부부친밀감과 성공적 노화간의 관계에 대한 자녀애착의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 부부친밀감, 자녀에 대한 애착불안 그리고 애착회피가 성공적 노화와 구조적으로 어떻게 관련되는지를 알아보고자 주관적 건강과 경제 상태를 통제하여 이를 성별에 따라 검증하였다. 연구대상은 부산시와 인근의 노인복지관을 이용하는 60세 이상 노인 509명으로 하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남성노인 집단은 부부친밀감과 자녀에 대한 애착회피가 성공적 노화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 부부친밀감은 자녀에 대한 애착불안에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자녀에 대한 애착회피와 애착불안은 부부친밀감이 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향을 매개하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여성노인 집단은 부부친밀감과 자녀에 대한 애착회피가 성공적 노화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 부부친밀감은 자녀에 대한 애착회피에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자녀에 대한 애착회피는 부부친밀감이 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향을 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study are to investigate the effect of marital intimacy and an attachment to children on successful aging of the elderly let alone look into the mediating effect of avoidance and anxiety attachment to children according to the gender. 509 elderly people who are over 60 years old, have a spouse and do not live with their children were considered for this study. The main findings through this study are as follows. The study of the research model shows a difference according to the gender of the elderly. Marital intimacy and avoidance attachment to children without a subjective health and an economic status affect successful aging and marital intimacy only affects anxiety attachment to children in the male group. Therefore, avoidance and anxiety attachment to children do not mediate the effect of marital intimacy on successful aging. Besides that, both the subjective health and the economic status do not affect marital intimacy in the male group. Marital intimacy and avoidance attachment to children without a subjective health and an economic status affect successful aging and marital intimacy only affects anxiety attachment to children in the female group. Avoidance and anxiety attachment to children partially mediate the effect of marital intimacy on successful aging. The subjective health only affects marital intimacy.
