국문 초록

본 연구는 중국의 경제적 발전이 중국의 교육에 어떠한 영양을 주었는지 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해, 경제 발전과 이에 따른 중국의 국내외적 교육 변화를 알아보았다. 그리고 이러한 변화가 가지는 의의와 전망을 알아보았다. 중국은 개혁개방이후 경제, 국제 정치, 국방, 문화 등에서 괄목할만한 발전을 이룩하였다. 이러한 발전을 바탕으로 국내적으로는 교육에 대한 투자로 이어졌고, 다양한 정책이 추진 중이다. 또한 외국 유학생의 수가 증가했고, 중국을 찾는 유학생의 국가가 다양화되었다. 결국 중국의 발전은 교육의 발전을 가져왔다. 그리고 교육은 세계 인재를 유치시키는 것과 같은 국가 발전에 영향을 주면서, 국가 발전에 다시 기여하는 선순환 구조를 유지하고 있다. 국외적으로는 중국어 및 중국 문화에 대한 교육수요를 증가시켰고, 중국 출신 유학생을 증가시켰으며, 외국 교육기관과 화교의 중국 진출을 유도하기도 했다. 중국은 경제 발전의 추세를 교육 발전으로 이끌고, 오늘의 부강을 이끈 경제 발전을 내일의 발전을 담보하는 교육 발전으로 확대하면서 보다 높은 수준의 국가 발전을 기대하고 있다. 현재 이것은 중국의 Soft Power 증진과 맞물리고, 연관 분야와 접목되어 중국을 발전시키고 있다. 더하여 중국적인 교육 방법과 틀을 제시할 가능성도 높아지고 있다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this study is to investigate what effects China's economic development made on Chinese education. For this, It analized China's economic development and the accompanying changes in China as well as changes in education both at home and abroad. On the basis of that, direction and significance of educational change are studied. China has made the development in economy, international politics, defense, and culture. Following this change, China also achieved a lot of educational progress domestically and internationally. Domestically economic success leads to investments in education and a range of policies have been introduced. Also the number of foreign students increased and country of international students who are studying in China diversified. Finally, China's economic development cause educational progress. In succession, education have an influence on China's national development such as attracting foreign high skilled human resources, which maintain virtuous circulation. Internationally China's economic success increase educational demand for Chinese and Chinese culture, foreign chinese students, and induce foreign University advance to China. Education became China's new economic engine and China expects high level national future development from mutual responsibility and aid between economic and educational present development.
