남북한 미술의 특징과 교육과정 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 통일을 준비하는 과정의 일환으로 남북한 미술의 특징과 남북한 미술과 교육과정을 비교해 봄으로써 민족의 동질성을 회복할 수 있는 바람직한 통합 미술교육과정 개발 과정에 기초 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 남북한 미술의 특정을 살펴봄으로써 미술문화를 비 교하고, 둘째, 남북한의 교육제도, 셋째, 남북한의 미술 교육의 목적, 미술교육과정의 목표 및 내용체계, 교수-학습 방법 및 평가, 남북 한 미술교과서의 외형 및 내용체제 등을 비교하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과 분단의 장기화와 북한 사회의 특수성으로 인해 미술교육의 이질화가 심화되고 있는 현실을 살펴볼수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 북한의 미술 교육 현황과 그 변화를 이해하는데 매우 중요한 시사점을 제공할 수 있으며 통일 후 야기되는 미술교육에서의 갈등 및 교육격차를 해소하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to present basic data to the process of developing the desirable integrated art curriculum available for recovering nation's homogeneity by comparatively analyzing the characteristics of South and North Korean fine arts and South and North Korean fine arts curriculum & textbook. as part of the process of preparing for unification. For this, first, the fine arts culture was compared by examining characteristics of fine arts between South and North Korea. Second, South and North Korea's educational systems were comparatively examined. Third, it comparatively examined the objective of fine arts education between South and North Korea, goal & content system of fine arts curriculum, teaching-learning method & evaluation, and appearance & content system of fine arts textbook between South and North Korea. Through this study, the reality could be examined that heterogeneity in fine arts education is getting deepened owing to the extension in division and the particularity in North Korea. Accordingly, there is a need of discussing about developing South and North Korea's joint fine arts curriculum along with more positive effort for overcoming heterogeneity of South and North Korea's fine arts education. in preparation for future unification given considering that a great difference is being shown in the aspect of educational contents and quality. Understanding about the present status and its change in North Korea' fine arts education can offer very important implication in understanding North Korean society and will be able to contribute to solving conflict and educational gap that are caused after unification.
