국문 초록

본 연구는 2007년 교육 개정안에 기초하여 시행된 5-6학년 미술교과서의 참고작품을 분석하고, 차후 교육개정안에 개선방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 참고작품을 분석한 결과 다음과 같이 개선방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 6종 미술교과서에 소개된 참고 작품 중에 작품 제작년도를 누락한 작품을 제시하는 경우가 있었기 때문에 출판사는 교육과학기술부가 고시한 내용을 충실히 이행해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 교과서에 작가미상 작품이 너무 많아서 작가미상 작품이 우리의 전통미술을 이해하는데 얼마나 가치가 있는지 집필진의 토의가 있어야 할 것이다. 셋째, 3, 4학년 미술교과서에 있는 작품이 5, 6학년 미술교과서에 중복되어 소개되는 경우도 발견되어 차후 개정교과서는 중복 작품이 실리지 않도록 주의해야 한다. 넷째, 서양미술 작품에 비해 동양미술 작품수가 너무 적었기 때문에 국제화·다문화시대를 고려하여 여러나라 작품을 소개하는 것이 바람직하다 다섯째, 미술교과서 참고작품은 천재교육(이규선 외)이 107점으로 가장 많았으며, 교학사는 63 점으로 가장 적었다. 참고작품 수를 교육과학기술부에서 개정안 내용에 추가로 제시하는 것도 고려할 필요가 있다. 여섯째, 3-4 학년 미술교과서 부록에 있는 작품이 5-6학년부록에 중복되어 제시되는 경우도 있어서 학생들의 발달단계를 고려한 참고작품이 필요하다. 일곱째, 동일한 작가의 작품이 2점 이상 소개된 미술교과서는 두산동아를 제외한 5종이 해당되었다. 다양하고 창의적인 작가와 작품을 소개하는 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study purposes to analyze the reference works in the 5th and the 6th grade art textbooks. which were carried out based on the 2007 revised national curriculum in and suggest improvements for next revision of curriculum. The analysis of reference works suggested the following improvement. First, among the reference works introduced in 6 kinds of art textbooks. some cases omitted the year of production. Publishers should carry out what the Ministry of Education. Science and Technology announced in a faithful manner. Second, a team of writers should discuss that that too many works whose authorship is unknown are in the art textbooks and how much they are worth in understanding our traditional art. Third, some of the works in the 3rd or the 4th grade art textbooks are also introduced in the 5th or the 6th grade art textbooks. and attention should be paid so as not to include overlapping works in next revised textbooks. Fourth, the number of Oriental art works is too smaller than that of Western art works and it is desirable to introduce works from various countries taking account of multicultural times. Fifth, for the number of reference works introduced. the art textbooks published by Chunjae Education (Lee Gyu Sun, et al) has the largest number of reference works (107) and Kyohak Publishing has the smallest number of reference works (63). It should be also necessary for the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to consider presenting the number of reference works in a revision. Sixth, some of the works in the appendix of the 3rd or the 4th grade art textbooks are also introduced in the appendix of the 5th or the 6th grade art textbooks, which indicate a necessity to include reference works which take developmental stages of students into account. Seventh, 5 kinds of art textbooks except for Doosan Dong-A introduce more than 2 items of the same author's work. An effort to introduce various and creative authors and works should be made.
