국문 초록

喀左 일대의 청동예기 매납유구는 商末周初의 중국식 청동예기가 주로 부장되어 있을 뿐만 아니라 이들 청동예기에서 다양한 씨족 집단의 명칭이 발견된다는 점에서 그간 많은 주목을 받았다. 그러나 기존의 연구는 중국식 청동예기와 특정 집단의 명칭 분석에만 지나치게 치중함으로써 이들 유구의 조성 맥락을 西周 초기 燕나라 및 그 관할 아래 있던 商나라 유민 집단의 ‘주민 이주’와 ‘군사적 진출’로만 해석하는 경향이 강하였다는 점에서 근본적인 한계가 있다. 따라서 이들 유적을 매납유구를 포함하고 있는 魏營子類型과 주변 문화 간의 상호 작용이라는 고고학적 맥락에서 재해석할 필요가 있다. 전기 청동기시대~중기 청동기시대 河北省과 遼西는 河北省 중북부 華北大平原의 大坨頭文化-圍坊3期類型-張家園上層類型을 중간자로 하여 남쪽의 二里頭文化–商文化–西周文化, 북쪽의 夏家店下層文化와 魏營子類型 간에 지속적인 상호 작용 관계를 형성하고 있었다. 이러한 점을 고려할 때, 喀左 일대 매납유구의 청동예기는 魏營子類型의 중심 집단이 河北省 북부의 여러 집단과 다양한 문화적 접촉과 경제적인 교류 관계 속에서 교환ㆍ교역ㆍ제공된 것이 喀左 일대 魏營子類型 집단의 특수 활동과 연관되어 매납된 것으로 생각된다. 喀左 和尙溝 목곽묘에서 근 100매의 海貝를 내장한 銅卣가 출토된 것 등은 이와 관련된 좋은 사례라 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Previously, the bronze ritual vessel burial caches of the Kazuo area have received much attention because not only are Chinese style bronze ritual vessels of the late Shang-early Zhou period buried there, but also because on these ritual vessels the names of diverse clan groups are found. However, previous research has fundamental limitations by overly emphasizing the analysis of Chinese style bronze ritual vessels and the names of specified groups and a tendency to interpret the creation of these caches only in the light of ‘mass migrations’ and ‘military inroads’ of early western Zhou Yan and Shang refugee groups under their jurisdiction. Therefore it is necessary to re-interpret from an archaeological standpoint, the interaction between the Weiyingzi type, which includes the remains of these burial caches and the cultures of the surrounding areas. Early bronze age-mid bronze age Hebei province and Liaoxi had the cultures of the mid-upper Hebei Huabei great plains area such as the Datuotou culture-third period Weifang type-Zhangjiayuan upper level type located in the middle with continuous interaction between the Weiyingzi type and the Erlitou culture-Shang culture-Western Zhou culture of the south and the lower Xiajiadian culture of the north. In consideration of these points, following the formation of diverse political, social, economic relations between the central group of the Weiyingzi type and the many groups of northern Hebei province, it seems the bronze ritual vessel burial caches of the Kazuo area were created continuously after they were acquired by exchange, trade and donation. The archaeological find of a bronze you vessel containing close to 100 cowrie shells in a outer wooden coffin tomb at Kazuo Heshanggou is a good example.
