The following are the results after examining the dress, ornaments, armor and the horse’s armor that are on the old tomb mural. The host of the Ahn-ak Number 3 tomb wore a gold lining Bek-Ra-Gwan which kings wore in the Goguryo Dynasty. The clothes of the Ahn-ak Number 3’s owner were purple, black and also had splendid lines on top of the light vandyke brown and finished with a red coat string. Also, small button ornaments were attached to the sleeve and collar to enhance the splendor. The pants and simple top that are found in the Ahn-ak Number 3 tomb cannot be found in the Chinese dress and ornaments. The dress and ornaments in China’s Buk-jo Genertion and Soo Dynasty completely differ from that of Goguryo Dynasty. China’s clothing have a variety of sleeves including long sleeves, short sleeves, tight sleeves and the pants were long enough to cover the shoes and tied below the knee which could not be found in the Ahn-ak Number 3 tomb. A comparison has been made between the Goguryo Dynasty armor found in the Ahn-ak Number 3 tomb and the Chinse Northern area armor. During the era of Three Countries and Two Jins, China’s army wore the same Yong-su-ge and in the Northern and Southern Dynasty era, as cavalry soldiers became a crucial part of war, the Yang-dang-ge was produced. However in Goguryo Dynasty’s mural, this kind of Yong-su-ge and Yang-dang-ge cannot be found. The Goguryo Dynasty wore various armor depending on the structure of the troops. Therefore, the size and shape and way it is made varies. This is because Goguryo Dynasty had prominent skills in making armor by inheriting Gojosun’s technology that made bone armor, leather armor, bronze armor, and iron armor earlier than China. Also, the making of Goguryo Dynasty’s horse armor was at least 2 centuries earlier than the Chinese so it is assumed that there is a high possibility that China and the Northern area’s horse armor production was influenced by the Goguryo Dynasty. According to the examination made, we can tell that the many components on Ahn-ak Number 3 tomb’s mural painting match the intrinsic characteristics of Goguryo Dynasty. and also belong to the Goguryo Dynasty. By looking at the originality and the property of the Goguryo Dynasty’s dress and ornaments, it proves that the host of the Ahn-ak Number 3 tomb is a person that belonged to the Goguryo Dynasty. Also we can tell that the Ahn-ak Number 3 tomb is a royal tomb of the Goguryo Dynasty because the host’s dress and ornaments match with the King’s dress and ornaments according to history books.
