국문 초록

동물 뼈나 자연물을 몸에 걸치는 등 여러 물건을 사용하여 몸을 치장하는 인간의 행위는 특별한 기술이 발달하기 전부터 인류의 역사와 함께 시작하였다. 이렇듯 장식을 통해 자신을 드러내고자 하는 행위는 인간의 본성에 가깝다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 장식에 대한 애착은 긴 시간을 통해 다양한 기술을 발전 시켰으며 이 과정으로 새로운 디자인이 창조 되어 왔다고 할 수 있다. 예술과 디자인의 역사에서 기계적 조형성은 근대 산업 혁명 이후 급속도로 발전한 기계 산업으로 모든 분야에서 대량생산이 가능해지면서 부각되기 시작했다. 또한 건축, 예술분야에서까지 영향을 미친 산업화의 물결은 화려하고 거추장스러운 장식을 없애고 기계적인 조형성과 함께 새로운 구조적인 형태를 부각시키는 미적 기준을 생겨나게 하였다. 이러한 변화는 장신구 분야에도 영향을 미쳐 대량 생산이 가능한 부품의 사용으로 간단한 기술만으로 다양한 형태로 제작 가능하게 만들었다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 장신구를 구조적인 형태로 제작하고자 할 때 용이한 부속 유니트를 연구하여 그러드 형태를 이루는 장신구에 입체적인 변형을 줄 수 있는 방법을 연구하였다. 이는 그리드가 가지는 조형성을 표현 가능하게 하는 연결 부속 유니트에 대한 연구로 진행함으로서 장신구에 효과적인 공간감을 표현하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

영문 초록

Human being's behavior of decorating the body began with behaviors such as putting bones of animals or natural objects on the body before special technologies were developed. As this shows, the behavior of expressing oneself through decorations is close to instinct of human being. The attachment to the decoration has developed a variety of technologies for a long period of time and the process of this development has created the history of design. In the history of art and design, mechanical modeling has begun to receive attention as mass production became possible in all fields with rapidly developed mechanical industry. In addition, the wave of this industrialization affected architecture and art fields, which led to creation of artistic standard that removes splendid and burdensome decorations and emphasizes mechanical modeling and structural shape. This change also affected the field of ornaments, making it possible to make various shapes only with simple technologies of using parts that can be mass produced. This article studied part unit which is useful for making ornaments of structural shape and the method of give three-dimensional changes to ornaments of grid shape. This study was conducted through the research on connecting part unit which makes it possible to express modeling of grid and would be helpful to express effective space sense of ornaments.
