영문 초록

The earliest myth of “XuanNiao gave birth to Shang dynasty” is in Book of Poetry. The canticle of Shang Dynasty. The academic circle think of many explanations of “XuanNiao” contradicting to each-other, mainly concentrated on swallow, Phoenix, owl, reproductive organs. This text try to study this problem again by Corroboration the cultural works and the archeological material mutually. The writer thinks “XuanNiao” is a kind of compound mythical images. Its content is the unification of sun and bird, expressing abstract pattern of bird appeared early before Shang Dynasty or the earlier period of Shang Dynasty, and its mythical prototype is comprehensive mythical images-bird and sun. It still reflects the people’s consciousness of cosmos and tracking for ancestry. This mythical image can easily blending, so it is easily turned to concrete images at random. this is also why a lot of images.
