从碑刻材料看明代宦官与士大夫的几种交往方式

국문 초록

명대의 환관과 사대부의 관계에 관하여, 주로 중대한 정치 사건과 결탁한 사건과 환관과 사대부가 서로 왕래하는 것에 중점을 두어 연구되어왔다. 일반적으로 환관이 조정의 관리와 왕래하고 합작한 흔적은 후세의 그 비난을 받는 경우가 많다. 근래 들어서 묘지, 묘비 등의 연구자들의 시야에 들어온 석각의 사료에 따르면, 조정의 사대부는 환관을 위하여 묘지명문을 작성하였는데, 이는 양자 간의 관계를 연구하기 위한 유효한 자료일 것이다. 수백 개의 묘지명문으로부터 명제나 법칙을 유도하는 방법을 통해 명대 환관과 사대부의 사이도 관례적 인정의 교제를 갖추는 것과 양자 간은 동료, 동향의 사람, 교사와 학생 등의 관계를 통해서 왕래를 하며, 사원도 양자의 관련이 발생하는 중요한 매개였음을 알 수 있다. 묘지명, 비석의 재료에 대해 분석한다면, 정치와 관련된 중대한 문제의 외적 환관과 외정 조정 사대부 사이의 결탁과 왕래를 살펴 볼 수 있는 것뿐만 아니라 이제까지 사료를 통해 밝혀진 부분에 반성할 점도 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 묘지명, 비석 등의 사료는 그 특수한 효용으로 사대부가 글을 지을 때 모종의 고유한 금기를 깨게 했던 것으로 인해, 새로운 사료의 이용은 동일한 문제에 대해서 우리를 안내하여 하나의 관점을 바꾸고, 한 가지 설명방식을 바꾸며, 보다 입체적인 환관의 이미지를 볼 수 있게 한다. 물론, 이러한 비석 사료를 위주로 하는 것은 결코 전통적인 텍스트 사료의 작용을 부정하는것은 아니다. 후세까지 전해지는 텍스트 사료가 왕조가 교체하는 것 등의 중대한 역사 문제를 밝혀내는 것은 유용하지만, 사건에 대한 해석과 그 배후의 사회관계와 구조, 규범을 인식하여 명확하게 밝혀 낼 수 없을 것이다. 새로운 사료 이용을 통해, 환관과 사대부 양자 간의 관계에 대한 연구를 더욱 깊은 단계로 진행시킬 수 있을 것이다. 동시에 연구자들에게 다각도로 사료를 발굴하여, 획득한 사료를 이용하고, 다양한 방면에 관심을 가져야, 비로소 비교적 진실의 역사에 도달할 수 있을 것이며 나아가 더욱 분명한 해석을 해낼수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Traditionally, about the relation of Ming dynasty’s Eunuch and Scholar-bureaucrat, investigators emphasize particularly on their collusion in important political events. The scholar-bureaucrat will be castigated by posterity, when the amity of he and some eunuch is recorded. These years, stone inscription historical materials, for example epitaph and temple stele, are brought into historical scholars’ visual field, the epitaph that scholarbureaucrat wrote for eunuch can be a available approach to explore their relation. After cleaning up and inducing over one hundred epitaph, we can find routine human relationship and come-and-go. They affiliated with each other through the relation of colleague, countrymen and teacher-student. Temple is also an important medium. Through analyzing and inducing stone inscription historical materials, we are also producing new thinking about historical materials. Because epitaph and temple steles’ special use, scholarbureaucrats can break certain connatural no-no when writing. Using new historical materials, we can change a point of view and elucidative method about the same problem, picking up more three-dimensional eunuch image. In despite of giving priority to the stone inscription historical materials, we don’t negate the effect of traditional text historical materials. The use of text historical materials being handed down from ancient times can not be replaced when you want to know the important history problems, for example dynasties’ subrogation., but they are unable to explain affairs and understand backside society relation and mechanism. Making use of new materials, we can deepen the research about the relation of eunuch and scholar-bureaucrat. The same time, the historical scholars gained apocalypse: none but using all kinds of available historical materials, giving audience to all kinds of sounds, we can find more true history, or at least give more comprehensive and clear interpretation.
