국문 초록

우리사회의 자살문제를 살펴보는 것은 중요한 의미를 갖는다고 할 수 있다. 특히 자살문제는 자살생각이라는 심리적 요인이 큰 영향을 미치고 있다고 밝혀지고 있기 때문에 심리적 측면에서 자살연구를 하는 것은 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 자살에 대한 제반 연구자료를 바탕으로 경찰청과 통계청의 공식자료를 통한 자살에 대한 심리적인 분석을 하였으며, 다음과 같은 분석틀을 가지고 연구를 진행하였다. 첫째, 자살에 대한 심리학적 이론을 소개하고, 심리학적 인지과정 및 결정요인을 분석하였으며, 이를 통해서 자살의 일반적 발생추이를 분석하였다. 둘째, 자살자에 대한 충동 및 이유를 분석하기 하기 통계청의「2006년 사회조사보고서」, 「2008년 사회조사보고서」의 자살자에 대한 충동 및 이유를 재구성하였다. 이를 통해서 자살자에 대한 충동 및 이유 Ⅰ(성별), Ⅱ(연령별), Ⅲ(학력별), Ⅳ(소득별) 등을 분석하였다.

영문 초록

In 2008, Korea recorded a suicide rate of 27.3 per 100,000. this suicide rate more than three times from that of 1991. Meanwhile, suicide rates throughout the nation have been noticeably rising recently. The purpose of this study was to analyze the psychological cause of the suicide. According to the National Statistical Office (NSO), Korea’s suicide rates have hit a record high of 12,000 in 2004. When analyzing the suicide rate in terms of gender and age, men in 2007 more than 61.1% increased from that of 1995 and women in 2007 more than 104.8% increased from that of 1995. Women suicide rate was increasing every year. And the data were analyzed through Psychological Variables with the hopelessness, suicide-relevant cognitions, heightened impulsivity, problem solving deficits, perfectionism. The results of the psychological analysis revealed that the economic difficulties was the key factor. The main cause of the suicide rate for teenage was the school record etc. The main cause of the suicide rate in 20s was the job problem. The main cause of the suicide rate in 30s, 40s was the family troubles. The main cause of the suicide rate in 50s, 60s was the disease or disability. The Lack of a proper psychological care system for urging to commit suicide was the main cause in our rapidly risking society.
