宋代宏智正覺禪思想研究的幾個問題

국문 초록

本文은 中國研究 현황에 대하여 논하고 네 가지 研究問題에 대하여 논하고자한다. 첫째: 默照禪의 歸屬, 둘째: 默照禪의 “默照” 解釋, 셋째: 默照禪의 進路, 넷째 照禪의 目的을 어떻게 實現할 것인가.惠能南宗禪은 靜坐에 대한 많은 批評이 있지만 執著靜坐를 批評하였지 靜坐本身에 대한 批評은 아니었고, 어떻게 하면 用心하여 禪의 實質을 실현할 수 있는가 하는 것이었다.用心에 대해서 말하자면 宏智正覺의 默照禪은 惠能南禪을 完整하게 繼承하였다.宏智正覺의 “默照”는 靜默의 靜坐觀空을 고수 하는 것이 아니고， 그 倡導의 “默照”는 倡導의 “切行”이다. 그의 禪은 비록 靜坐의 成分이 있었지만 靜坐觀空이 아니고 그 자신의 批評은 단지 靜默의 禪은 바로 最簡單한 証明이라는 것이다.默照禪에 대해 간단히 살펴보면 大體로 四層의 進路가 있다는 것을 알 수 있을 것이다. 그는 尋求安靜，斷絕是非；靜坐參禪；參禪得悟後，進一步回互，使見解圓融；圓悟後，進入世間，度化衆生이 상의 네 가지이다.進路의 시각에서 보면 其他의 南宗禪과 基本的으로 一致한다.禪의 目標는 開悟로 引導하는 것이며 宏智正覺禪은 어떻게 開悟로 引導할 것인가를 알고 난 후에 비로소 深度있게 默照禪을 認識할수 있는 것이다.그는 參禪의 靜坐形式을 통하여 參의 道理와 及時的 開解傳心等의 方法으로 悟道를 實現하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This article is discussing about four problems in view of the current study on the Mozhao Zen in China: 1.What did the Mozhao Zen come under? 2.What was the signification of “Mozhao”? 3.What were the stages of the Mozhao Zen? 4.How did the Mozhao Zen lead to the enlightenment? The practitioners of the Hui Neng outhern Zen did criticize the meditation about nothingness whereas they did not deny the meditation itself. The Mozhao Zen of Hong Zhi Zheng Jue inherited the Southern Zen in terms of the operation of the mind which was the essence of Zen.Hong Zhi Zheng Jue stressed on the practice of meditation by “Mozhao” instead of sitting in meditation about nothingness.It was the manifestation his criticism of the meditation about nothingness.There were four stages in Mozhao Zen: Seek tranquility and free oneself from vexation; Sit in meditation; Cultivate more for the supreme perfect harmony after the enlightenment; Return to the secular world and redeem the living beings. These stages were generally in accordance with the Southern Zen. We can hardly comprehend the Zen of Hong Zhi Zheng Jue in depth until we understand how it led to the enlightenment which was the target of practicing Dhyana. Master Hong sought enlightenment by means of meditation, giving instructions on truth and mental transmission etc.
