국문 초록

초기의 합스부르크 제국은 지역간의 문화적， 언어적 차이가 다양했을 뿐 아니라， 제국의 통합적 이데올로기도 결여되어 있었다 합스부르크 제국의 통치의 기반은 군대와 귀족 그리고 관료제였으며, 마리 테레지아와 요셉 2세때는 교육제도의 개혁이 중요한 역할을 하였다 제국의 체제가 완비되고 제국과 지배지역간의 교통과 왕래가 빈번해지면서 통일된 언어의 필요성과 지배 지역의 언어 사이에서 갈등이 생기기 시작하였다 또한 민족주의와 언어문제가 결합되며 언어적 민족주의가 정치적， 문화적으로 매우 민감한 문제로 나타나다. 언어적 민족주의는 서구식 교육을 받은 신진 지식인들에 의해 주도 되었고 제국내의 개별 민족들의 민족정체성 형성과 민족국가 태동에 핵섬적인 역할을 하였다 단일 언어를 사용하는 지역의 언어문제와 달리 언어， 민족， 종교가 복잡하게 연결되어 있었던 보스니아 지역에서도 언어문제는 매우 민감한 문제였다， 특히 보스니아 지역의 언어문제는 보스니아 무슬림의 민족문제와 밀접하게 연관되어있었다. 합스부르크 지배의 다른 중·동부유럽 지역과 달리 보스니아 무슬림의 민족과 언어문제는 외세인 합스부르크 제국에 의해 주도 되었다 당시 합스부르크의 보스니아 문화정책의 기반인 보스니즘의 핵심에 언어문제가 있었다. 합스부르크 제국의 보스니즘을 통해 보스니아 무슬림은 하나의 민족으로 인정받을 수 있었다 이 연구에서는 합스부르크 제국 통치시기의 보스니아 무슬림의 민족형성과 민족의식 형성에 큰 역할을 하는 민족적 상징으로서의 언어의 문제와 이를 통한 보스니아 무슬림의 민족적 자의식을 연구하였다.

영문 초록

The Bosniaks or Bosniacs are a South Slavic ethnic group and typically characterized by their tie to traditional adherence to Islam. The generally accepted definition holds that Bosniaks are the Slavic Muslims on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ideology of the national and ethnic identity of Bosniaks is rooted in the Habsburg ‘ cultural police' in Bosnia. During the Habsburg occupation of Bosnia the administration of Benjamin Kallay, the Habsbug governor of Bosnia and Herzegovina, enforced the idea of a strengthened unitary Bosnian nationCBosnianism) that would incorporate Muslim Bosnians as well as the Bosnian Catholics and Bosnian Orthodox Christians, who at that time were slowly beginning to separate into distinct peoples which threatened to destabilize Bosnia. The idea was fiercely opposed by Croats and Serbs and further clouded the Bosnian ethnical issue and made the Bosniak group seem as pro-regime. Kallay symbolized the new nation with a structured, modern introduction of an official Bosnian language. Since 1994 Bosniaks is a nation name and the constitutional denomination of the Bosnian Muslims in Republic of Bosnia. For the territorial and national Interests, The Bosnain Muslim currently enforced the national Bosnianism of which main idea is based on the Habsburg era. Following some theoretical definition of antionalism and language ideology, it is shown is shown Habsburg's Bosnism and the Self-Comprehnesion of Bosnian Muslim. The concluding section offers a summary of the temporary Bosnism in compare to in contrast to Kallay’s Bosnianism.
