국문 초록

전통적으로 교사의 수업 전문성을 신장하기 위하여 행해진 방법은 '효과적인 수업'에 초점을 두고 교사의 자질을 향상시키는 것이었다. 이러한 관점에서 교사에게 필요한 능력은 해박한 교과지식과 수업기술이다. 그러나 최근 교과지식과 수업기술의 연마를 핵심으로 하는 수업 전문성 신장 방식을 비판하며 이에 대한 대안적 관점을 주장하는 의견들이 활발하게 제시되고 있다. 대안적 관점의 연구들은 학습자에게 축적되는 지식의 성격과 교사의 역할을 재정립해 보려는 시도에 초점을 두고 있다. 하지만 이러한 시도에도 불구하고 수업 전문성의 재개념화를 위한 여러 주장들은 이론적, 선언적 수준에 그치면서 실제 교수·학습 장면에서 충분한 적용을 거쳐 실전적인 모습으로 가시화되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 그동안 개별적으로 진행되어온 수업 전문성의 재개념화 관련 연구들을 체계적으로 수집, 분석하여 통합적 이해의 바탕을 마련하고자 하였다. 아울러 대안적 관점끼리의 비교, 분석을 통하여 현 단계에서 수업 전문성의 재개념화 연구의 동향을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 수업 전문성의 재개념화 관련 연구물을 몇 개의 범주로 유형화하여 비교, 분석하고 향후 실천적 재개념화를 위한 과제를 탐색하였다.

영문 초록

Traditionally, the method of improving the teacher's teaching professionalism is enhancing the teacher's quality focused on the effective instruction. In this respect, the ability needed to the teacher is the extensive knowledge on the subject and instructional skills. However, recently, criticizing the improving type of the Teaching professionalism focusing on textual knowledge and research of instructional skills, opinions asserting the alternative respects are suggested positively. The studies of alternative respect are focused on the efforts examining characteristics of knowledge accumulated on the learner and the attempts reshaping the teacher's role. But this attempt is deferred to the declarative argument because it isn't verified enough in the practicing process. This study is for collecting and analysing systematically each assertion on the reconceptualization of Teaching professionalism processing respectively, making synthetic understanding possible. Moreover, through the comparison and analysis between the alternative respects, this study aims at grasping the level of the study of reconceptualization of Teaching professionalism at present phase. For that, this study makes the researches related to the reconceptualization of Teaching professionalism into a few categories, comparing and analyzing them, searching the assignments for practicing reconceptualization afterwards.
