일본소설의 국내 번역 출판 현황과 특성에 대한 통사적 고찰

국문 초록

  한국의 출판 콘텐츠의 해외 의존도는 매우 높지만, 번역 출판을 포함한 해외 출판콘텐츠의 국내수용에 대한 연구는 매우 미흡한 상태이다. 현재 한국에서 가장 많이 번역 출판되고 있는 일본의 출판 콘텐츠의 경우, 그동안 번역출판에 대한 통계적, 산업적 접근 속에서 부분적으로 다루어져왔지만, 구체적으로 어떤 출판물이 국내에 유입되고 있는지, 그 공급과 경로, 독자의 니즈와 수용, 한국출판 및 문화에의 영향 등등을 본격적으로 다룬 연구는 거의 전무하다.
  본 연구에서는 특히 2000년대에 들어 화제가 되고 있는 일본소설의 번역 출판 붐을 계기로 한국에서 번역 출판된 일본소설의 기초 데이터를 파악하여 국내 유입 현황과 특징을 통사적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 이 연구를 통해 한일 양국 간의 출판 콘텐츠 교류 및 수용과 관련된 연구의 활성화를 도모하고자 한다.

영문 초록

  Although Korean publishing industry is heavily dependent on the importation of book contents from abroad, we seldom find serious researches on reception of book contents from abroad inclusive of translations of foreign publications. From the industrial and statistical perspective there are partial approaches to Japanese book contents which are the most among foreign translations at present. However there are few thorough studies of particular publications selected for import, a channel of supplies, needs of readers, reception and the impact on korean publishing and culture.
  This study grasps the preliminary data regarding translations of japanese fictions which are published in korea and win popularity with the Japanese fiction boom since the 2000s in order to analyze diachronically the present condition and distinctive aspects of publication of Japanese fictions translated into korean. Furthermore I attempt to vitalize future studies on the exchange of book contents between two countries and reception.
