텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 출판학 연구 동향과 특성

국문 초록

디지털 출판 콘텐츠, AI 출판 등 진화하는 IT기술이 출판 산업에 미치는 영향은 매우 크며, 이를 대비해 출판학 분야에 대한 연구 성과물을 정리하고 방향성을 제시하는 것은 중요한 일이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국출판학연구에서 출간한 459편의 학술 논문을 대상으로 제목, 초록, 키워드를 수집하여 토픽모델링 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 기술 발전과 환경 변화, 출판물 수용 고찰, 출판 산업의 내부적 역량고과 활용, 출판 분야 교육의 네 개 토픽이 도출되었다. 그리고 2010년 이전은 초기 디지털 전환 산업 환경 변화, 출판 산업 현황, 출판물 수용 변화와 대응이라는 세 개의 토픽이, 2010년 이후는 디지털 전환 산업 환경 변화, 출판물 수용 변화와 대응, 출판 분야 교육, 출판 산업 현황이라는 네 개의 토픽이 도출되었다. 이번 연구결과는 한국출판학연구에서 비중 있게 다뤄진 주제들이 무엇인지를 밝혔다는 점, 출판산업계에 보다 실무적 관점의 시사점을 제공할 수 있는 연구주제가 필요하다는 점을 제안했다는 것에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The evolving IT technologies such as digital publishing content and AI publishing have a significant impact on the publishing industry. Therefore, it is important to consolidate research achievements in the field of publishing studies and provide direction to cope with these changes. In this study, we conducted topic modeling analysis on 459 academic papers published in Korean publishing studies, collecting titles, abstracts, and keywords. The analysis revealed four topics: technological advancement and environmental changes, reflections on publishing acceptance, utilization of internal capabilities and assessments in the publishing industry, and education in the publishing field. Prior to 2010, three topics emerged: initial digital transformation, changes in the industry environment, and responses to publishing acceptance changes. After 2010, four topics emerged: digital transformation, changes in publishing acceptance and response, education in the publishing field, and the current status of the publishing industry. The research results shed light on the significant topics addressed in Korean publishing studies and suggest the need for research topics that provide more practical insights for the publishing industry.
