스캐폴딩 기반 코스웨어의 적용이 지적장애학생의 수학 문장제 문제해결 능력과 독립적인 수행 능력에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

  이 연구의 목적은 지적장애학생들의 수학 문제해결 능력을 신장시키기 위해 개발된 스캐폴딩 기반 코스웨어의 적용이 지적장애학생 개개인의 수학 문장제 문제해결 능력 및 문제해결의 독립적인 수행 능력에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 알아보는데 있다. 서로 다른 학습 특성을 나타내는 3명의 지적장애학생들 각각을 대상으로 단일대상연구의 프로그램 변동 설계를 적용하였다.
  연구 결과는 문제해결 수행을 지원하는 공학적 지원이 완전히 철회되거나 부분적으로 제공되는 상태에서 대상 학생들 모두가 수학 문장제 문제해결의 정확도에서 성취 기준에 도달하였으며, 문제해결을 돕기 위해 제공되는 촉구를 필요로 하지 않는 독립적인 수행 능력을 갖출 수 있음을 보여준다. 이러한 수학 문장제 문제해결 능력과 독립적인 수행 능력은 코스웨어 적용 환경에서뿐만 아니라, 지필 환경에서도 일반화되었으며, 중재 종료 2주 후에도 유지되었다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to verify effectiveness of the scaffolding based courseware for teaching mathematical word problem solving to children with intellectual disabilities. For this purpose, the changing program design from the single-subject research method was used. The courseware was used to adapt mathematical strategies to each children with intellectual disabilities.
  This courseware was designed according to following three guidelines: 1) presenting technological supports to help accomplish mathematical tasks, 2) withdrawing technological supports to give challenges, and 3) conducting dynamic assessment to identify a learner"s level of ability.
  All of the children in the study reached high levels of correctness and independence when they solved mathematical word problems. And it was verified that their high levels of correctness and independence were transferred to pencil-and-paper mathematical problem solving.
  This study suggests that scaffolding based courseware should be replicated other children with different types of disabilities like learning disability and that the effectiveness and efficacy between verbal self-instruction and alternative self-instruction should be compared.
