송징 전설의 범주 규정 및 계열 분류와 당제 유래전설의 서사원형 고찰

국문 초록

  본 연구에서는 서남해안 도서 지역의 대표적인 인물 전설인 송징 전설을 대상으로 유형 범주 규정 및 계열 분류, 서사의 원형적인 내러티브 분석과 재구성을 진행하였다. 기존 연구와 차별화되는 본 연구의 주안점은 송징 전설이 독자적으로 존재하는 것이 아니라 서남해안에 광범위하게 존재하는 지역 전설인 송장군 전설과의 : 관련양상 속에서 존재하며, 이 송징 전설은 특정한 지리적역사적ㆍ신앙적ㆍ특수성과 관련하여 구체화된 한 하위 유형으로 존재한다는 사실이다. 즉 송징 전설은 송장군 전설과의 상호 작용속에서 형성되었다는 것이며, 송징 전설 속에는 이러한 송장군 전설과의 관계도 속에서 다기한 세부 계열이 존재한다는 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 시각 하에서 송징 전설의 범주를 규정하고 그 하위 범주를 세분화 하는 동시에, 송징 전설 내부에 존재하는 하위 계열의 존재양상과 특징을 드러내는 계열도를 구체화 할 수 있었다.
  우선 본 연구는 기존 연구 및 관련 자료 속에서 송징 전설로 거론되어 온 텍스트를 수집ㆍ정리한 후에 각각의 범주를 규정하였다. 이러한 범주 규정 과정에는 송징 전설과 송씨 성을 가진 인물 전설 사이의 관계 및 상호작용을 적극적으로 고려하였다. 다음으로 송징 전설의 범주화와 작업을 바탕으로 하여 송징 전설 내부에 존재하는 하위 계열을 분류하였다. 이 계열 분류는 송정 전설의 형성 및 전승 과정상에 나타나는 유형적 보편성과 역사적ㆍ지역적 특수성을 고려한 바탕 위에서 진행하였다. 마지막으로 역사적인 층차를 보여주는 송징 전설 속에 나타나는 원형적인 서사구조의 특징을 규명하였다. 송징 전설의 형성 및 전승 과정 속에서 반복되는 내러티브의 원형을 추출하고 재구성해보았다.

영문 초록

  This study provided the category and classified the patterns, analyzed and reconstructed archetype-narrative structure in Song-jing legend, representative individual-legend among island regions in west-south seasides. The point of this study being discriminated against the preexistent studies is what not solitary exeist is Song-jing legend isn"t solitary exeist, but is exeist in relation to Song-jang-gun lendgend, regional legend that is transmitted widespreadly in west-south seasides and this Song-jing legend is exist as type in a lower rank that is concretizd in relation to distinctive facts geographicaly, historicaly, religiously. That is what Song-jing legend was built up in interactions with Song-jang-gun legend and it is constituted with the particular parts that is making relation as various aspects.
  Being based on these sense of sights, this study could provide the category of Song-jing lendgend and classify the lower patterns, besides could concretize the network-map appearing existent aspects and characteristics of the lower part in Song-jing legend.
  Firstly, this study classified each patterns after gathered and arranged all texts that have mentioned as Song-jing legend in the preexistent studies and the related datum. In these course of providind category, this study considered positively the relations and interactions between Song-jing legend and legend of chracters having the surname calling "Song".
  Secondly, this study classified the lower patterns in Song-jing legend based on the work categorizing Song-jing legend. This study proceeded the work of classification of the lower patterns on the basis that considered the resionalㆍhistorical distinctiveness and typical universality appearing in the course of formation and transmission of Song-jing legend.
  Finally, this syudy examined the chracteristics of the archetype-structure appearing as different aspects in Song-jing legend. This study drew out and reconstructed the archetype of narrative-structure being repeated in the course of formation and transmission of Song-jing legend.
