유아의 수학학습능력에 대한 역동적 평가 도구 개발

국문 초록

  본 연구에서는 수세기, 패턴, 기하, 측정의 4가지 수학의 내용영역의 과제를 활용하여 유아의 현재 수학적 능력 및 학습에 대한 잠재력을 측정하기 위한 유아의 수학학습능력에 대한 역동적 평가 도구를 개발하고자 하였다. 유아의 수학학습능력에 대한 역동적 평가 도구개발을 위하여 역동적 평가와 유아의 수학학습능력에 관한 선행연구들을 분석하여 시안을 작성한 후 1차, 2차 예비검사를 실시하였으며 이를 통해 최종 시안이 선정되었다. 최종 선정된 시안은 사전·사후 검사 38문항, 훈련검사 18문항, 전이검사 18문항으로 구성되어있다. 본 유아 수학학습잠재력 평가도구의 문항 양호도(문항통과율과 문항변별도)와 검사 양호도(신뢰도와 타당도)를 알아본 결과 유아의 수학학습능력 및 잠재력을 정하는 역동적 평가도구로서 적절한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to develop a dynamic assessment tool for the mathematical learning ability of preschoolers by applying tasks about four areas of mathematics including number counting, pattern, geometry and measurement in an effort to evaluate the current mathematical ability and learning potentiality of preschoolers.
  The selected research tasks were as follows:
  1. Develop a draft of a dynamic preschool assessment tool for mathematical learning ability.
  2. Examine the item adequacy of the dynamic preschool assessment tool for mathematical learning ability developed in this study.
  3. Investigate the test adequacy of the dynamic preschool assessment tool for mathematical learning ability.
  In order to develop a dynamic preschool assessment tool for mathematical learning ability, earlier studies on dynamic assessment and the mathematical learning capabilities of preschoolers were analyzed to draw up a draft, and that was finalized after primary and secondary pilot tests were conducted.
  The final draft consisted of three segments: pretest/posttest with 38 items, training test with 18 and transfer test with 18. When the assessment tool was checked in terms of item adequacy(passing rate and item discrimination) and test adequacy(reliability and validity), that turned out to be one of appropriate dynamic assessment tools to rate the mathematical learning ability and potentiality of preschoolers.
