고등학생의 학습된 무기력에 영향을 미치는 인간관계, 학습사 및 동기적 변인들의 구조적 분석

국문 초록

  본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 학습된 무기력에 영향을 미치는 인간관계, 학습사 및 동기적 변인들 간의 구조적 관계를 구명하는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 강원도의 5개시에 위치한 12개 고등학교의 2학년 학생 858명으로서 인간관계 검사, 자기조절동기 검사, 학업적 자기효능감 검사, 귀인 검사, 학습사 검사와 학습된 무기력 검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석을 위하여 LISREL 8.54를 이용한 행로분석과 확인적 요인분석, 그리고 SPSS WIN 11.5에 의한 상관분석 등이 적용되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인간관계(부모관계, 교사관계, 친구관계), 학습사, 동기적 변인(실패귀인, 학업적 자기효능감, 자기조절동기)들은 13개의 행로를 통해 고등학생의 학습된 무기력에 직·간접적으로 영향을 주었고, 학습된 무기력 전체 변량에 대한 관련 변인들의 설명력은 약 15%였다. 둘째, 고등학생의 학습된 무기력에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 외생변인은 부모관계였고, 내생변인의 경우는 학업적 자기효능감이었다. 부모관계는 학습된 무기력에 직·간접적인 영향을 주었는데 직접 효과가 간접효과보다 더 컸다. 학습사는 학습된 무기력에 간접효과만 주었다. 학업적 자기효능감과 자기조절동기는 학습된 무기력에 비슷한 정도의 직접효과를 주었지만, 전체효과 면에서는 학업적 자기효능감이 자기조절동기보다 더 컸다. 친구관계와 실패 귀인은 고등학생의 학습된 무기력에 유의한 영향을 주지 않았다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationships of the interpersonal relationship(the quality of relationship to parents, teachers, and friends), school learning history, and motivational variables(attribution in failure outcomes, academic self-efficacy, self-determined motivation) on the high school students" learned helplessness. The research questions are as follows: First, what are the structural relationships of interpersonal relationship, school learning history, and motivational variables on high school students" learned helplessness? Second, how is relative effect of interpersonal relationship, school learning history, and motivational variables on high school students" learned helplessness? 858 11th graders from five cities in Kangwon province in Korea participated in the survey. The Interpersonal Relationship, the Self-determined Motivation, the Academic Self-efficacy, the Attribution, the School Learning History, and the Learned Helplessness scales were administered in the survey. Path analysis and confirmatory factor analysis with LISREL 8.54 were used for analysing data. The major findings of the study are as follows: First, four exogenous and three endogenous variables had direct and indirect effects on high school students" learned helplessness via 13 pathways, and explained 15% of the total variance of learned helplessness. Second, the most influential variable on high school students" learned helplessness was the quality of relationship with parents among exogenous variables and academic self-efficacy among endogenous variables. All these findings were discussed for parents, teachers, and educational interventions.
