국문 초록

  이 연구는 현금의 지방자치시대 지역주민의 생활의 질을 제고하기 위해, 당해 지방자치단체의 정책적 노력과 투자를 경주하기 위한 기초자료로서, 자치구민의 생활의 질 수준과 우선순위를 주관적지표에 의해 측정하였다. 본 연구에서는 그 사례로서 부산광역시의 자치구 중 가장 늦게 시역으로 편입되고 낙후 정도가 높은 강서구를 선정하였다. 생활의 질 만족 수준은 가정생활, 주거장소, 건강상태, 교육기관, 직장활동, 이웃？친구？친족관계, 여가시간활용 등 7개의 하위 영역으로 구분 측정하였다. 한편 자치구 주민들이 우선적으로 충족되기를 원하는 생활의 질에 대한 우선순위 분석은 성별과 연령별로 구분 측정하였다.

영문 초록

  The aim of this study is to analyze the quality of life in residents of self-governing distract and suggest policy implications. The case used in the study is Gangseo Self-Governing district in Busan. To attain the goal, the study uses subjective indicator of the quality of life. This is due to the merits of subjective indicator of the quality of life. That is, the subjective indicator is superior to the objective indicator in view point of extracting traits of diverse individuals and regions. The subjective indicator is a measurement of individual perceptions of their objective life conditions such as degree of happiness as perceived by individuals. The results of the analysis may be summarized as follows: Residents of Gangseo Self-Governing District in Busan have more optimistic prospect in the future than at present, at present than the past in almost all sectors. The most distinguishing factor in causing gap of the quality of life in residents turned out to be the level of education.
