국문 초록

전자출판의 새로운 화두로 등장하고 있는 U-출판 및 U-북은 U-시대의 패러다임을 기저로 다원화된 사회현상 및 변화를 수반함에 따라 새로운 해석틀이 요구된다. 본연구에서는 현상에 기반한 이론적 설명틀 모색과 함께 분석을 통해 불확실성을 내포한 출판현황에 미래적 인식을 기하고자 한다. “인터넷 초강국”으로 일컫는 한국적 상황인만큼, 이 연구에서 유출해내는 인터넷 출판, U-북에 관한 설명틀은 보다 독창적이며 선구적일 수밖에 없다. 유연한 신관계주의와 자아지향적 심리기제를 특성으로 하는 유비티즌에게 네트워킹 독서하는 인터넷 북의 역할은 UT (ubiquitous technology)를 계기로 더욱 확대될 전망이다. 이에 따라 인터넷 출판 콘텐츠와 서비스는 다원화, 활성화를 추동하고 있다. 본연구에서는 이렇듯 급변하는 출판현상에 대하여 이론적 배경과 현황분석을 통해 출판의 현재와 미래를 가늠하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 사용한 분석틀내에서 인터넷 북이 U-출판의 중심테제임을 확인하였고, 업계별 현황조사에서도 전망을 예측할 수 있었다. 발전에 걸림돌이 되는 환경적 정책적 문제와 더불어 적지 않은 문제점과 해결과제가 있음도 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과, 한국 인터넷 출판에는 한국적 인터넷 문화가 생성되고 진전되는 배경이 있었다. 이와 같은 컨텍스트에는 미래의 출판이 갖는 방향성을 담지하고 있었고, 이를 기반으로 미래지향적 제언을 제시할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The era of ubiquitous publishing and ubiquitous books which are frequently mentioned nowadays as a new terms of ICT (Information & Communication Technology), requires new methodology and explanation frame based on ubiquitous paradigm with multiple societal phenomena and radical change. I try to explore theoretical background and to analyze ubiquitous paradigm based on the present state of Korean internet publishing in order to suggest futurama of publishing. The explanation of internet publishing and ubiquitous books extracted in this study would be new and creative, because this item is concerned with the present of Korea which is called "the Superpower of Internet" With UT (Ubiquitous Technology) as a momentum, the role of internet books will be expanded, especially for networking readers as ubitizens whose characteristic can be explained through neo-relationalsim, self-directed psychological mechanism, and so on. Therefore, the contents and services of internet books will cause acceleration of multiple supplement and activation. I verified that internet books are centered theme and possibility of development through this research. Otherwise, I also extracted some problems, on which I suggested some expected problems and alternative solution. Most of all, I examined the context on occurrence and development of Korean internet culture. From the context, I could extracted the orientation and future of Korean publishing.
