영문 초록

This thesis aims at studying the description system of North Korean Literary History in our perspective and the union oriented spirit represented in South & North Korean literary works, and presenting the way for the conquest of the division. I studied the general characteristics and contents of North Korean Literary History on the basis of five kinds of related books. These classifications are founded in the juch'e ideology literary theory. So North Korean Literary History Book's general estimation to literature was not literary excellency, but juch'e ideology till the beginning of 1980s. But Literary History Books published in the middle of 1980s, show change in selection of literary works. For example, they include the works of burgeois literature, patriotic literature, and realistic novels. And Literary History Books published in the middle of 1990s, they include the writers of KAPF and national literature. It represents that they place the inner constituents the first factor in the estimation of literary works. North Korean writers also pulling themselves out of ideological tendency gradually, show the qualitive change and view's extension of North Korean literature. Especially, the novels as Hwang, Seok-young's 'A Visitor'(손님) and Kim, Nam-ho's 'Meeting'(만남) using other side's characters, ideology and spaces, we can identify that South & North Korean literary works have features to seek national homogeneity.
